"For the children of Israel shall dwell many days without king or prince, without sacrifice or pillar, without ephod or teraphim. Afterward the children of Israel shall return and seek the LORD their God, and David their king; and they shall come in fear to the LORD and to his goodness in the latter days.
Hosia 3:4

Sorry to have to answer your question with a
question. However, the question that your
question brings to mind is a highly relevant--
and, I cannot help but feel--a reasonable and
highly-legitimate question.
So, just what is my question? Very simple:
Is (your question) a "loaded" question?

David was, in a sense, a symbol of Jesus. So I think that many Jews in the end times will discover Jesus as the Messiah and their Saviour. So we may look for a great revival among Jews in the future and they will worship on the seventh day of the ten commandments.
But Israel as a nation is no longer God's special people. The Christian church, the followers of Jesus, has taken over that roll.

No there was only one King David and there will be no other. Jesus is the only true King left to come to complete power. May God Bless U.

Jonathan, there are certain promises in the Old Covenant that God reserved for those under the Old Covenant. The New Jerusalem is one of them. Well, if you read revelations you will find that during the millinial reign, a city will be set up in the earth for 1,000 years and Christ will reign. This package was part of the promise to the Jews. And, it is believed during this 1,000 year reign David will be ruling over the millinial kingdom under Christ.
