I basically just asked this question but I just need more answers, I'm pretty much going crazy over here.

I met a senior tonight at a play I went to. She was in the play, she's quite the actress. She's graduating in a month and I'm a freshmen. She had a huge impact on me within seconds. She made eye contact with me a few times while she performed and I was transfixed. When she wasn't performing, she was off to the side (the show was improv comedy, very informal)and she oozed confidence. Confidence basically radiated off of her. She's gorgeous, but not your normal 'popular senior'. She's not all that popular, I feel like she doesn't care what anyone thinks, and yet everyone likes her. She seems flawless. Even though I don't know her, I'm terribly upset that she's graduating. We've bumped into each other in the bathrooms and stuff in the past before and I was entranced by her even then and I'm wishing that that'll happen again. What's going on? How can I ease my irrational pain?

perfection implies that no one, not even another God, could out-do God, and yet Satan easily outwitted God

Come to Jesus....He says: Matthew 11:28
Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

And He does!
John 5:24
Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.

Do you know what Jesus did for you? Do you know what He continues to do for those who love Him?

Why do people who work at cash registers insist on putting the coin change on TOP of the receipt in your hand? This is a VERY annoying habit. The coin slides around and you drop it trying to slide the receipt out from under it. Or, you have to crumple the whole mess up in your hand and shove it in your pocket or purse. Do they teach you this in training so the customer WILL drop the change and you get to keep it or something?
What is the big deal about handing the coin over FIRST?

I'm so annoyed by this I've taken to pulling my hand away quickly before they can drop the change on the receipt and they end up dropping the change themselves.

I realized this is petty but it's such a simple thing to change and it really makes more sense to not do it. So, people who work in retail...WHY on earth do you do this? Please explain!

technically, all you need to believe in is Jesus Christ himself to be classified as a 'Christian' (follower of Christ)

so why is it that some self-righteous clowns claim that they aren't christian at all?

I think there is. I mean, I, myself, grew up in a very traditional culture, in which everything had to be done according to the culture of my parents and certain foods had to be eaten at certain holidays, etc., but I was never told that I could never marry or date a man of a different race. Why? As my mom said it, "Culture has nothing to do with race. Race is the color orientation of a person, not the views and the actions of a person." So, does anyone else agree that racism is different from culture?

As soon as I ask a question about creation or religeon, people automatically jump on me and tell me im an athiest (which I am not), and that I am insulting people. Hows about all those people get off theyre high horse and realise a question is just a question, thats why this site is here. To get peoples opinions. So RELAX people and stop being so sensitive.

Its really differnent from christian worship. True some christians stand their, but most christians raise their hands and sing along and are happily clapping their hands. Mormons sit quielty and read/sing from a hymnal book. Its suppose to be reverent, but the differance between christian worship and mormon worship, I found was the connection I got from God and the joy, and some times God even talked to me during christianworship, I even saw a vision or two, but this never happen to me during Mormon worship.

Hey Guys,
just curious. Today when I went into town, I had a almost empty coffee that I had to throw out to go into the store I needed to enter. There weren't any trash cans outside, so I ran into a restraunt right next to the store and kindly asked them if I could throw out my drink. The manager then came out, told me I was extremley rude, then tossed her hand at the door and yelled 'Bye'. I was really taken aback. Is what I did rude? Just wondering!

I remember hearing somewhere that for ships if there are dolphins swimming ahead or nearby the ship will be safe. Explanation is that the dolphins can sense thunderstorms, and will not be there if there is an impending storm or something. Don't know if I got that quite right though, does anyone know? thanks!

God is all over the Old Testement. Talking to people and directly communicating with them. I recall He said at one point, no more will I come down and talk with men. He also seems to have power to control men to do His will. Just a few of many examples: hardening Pharoe's heart towards Moses. Hardening the hearts of men to cause war. Causing men to come with the sword. Deciding what the outcome will be. He seems to have a lot of say and control in the events of the Old Testement. He gets right up in there. Is it fair to say that after the Old Testament, we have more free will? He's not going to hold our hand anymore and keep doing things for us. He's given us all the tools and knowledge to fend for ourselves? Real free will starts now (after old testament)?

I don’t really believe in god but religion kind of make sense to me so anyway this person did everything to just get money and not only prostituting, stealing, frauding, or hacking but more than that and the last thing was she stealed her ma's 3 stories home legally faking the property papers and signature to her name then got a business contract so she can have an opportunity having sex with the rich men but now that all stopped and she prays all the time and brag about her lifestyle change claiming that she finally found god in her heart
But if you ask me that's just ballshit b/c the reason she stopped is b/c she doesn't need any more money so will "GOD" forgive her?
