God is all over the Old Testement. Talking to people and directly communicating with them. I recall He said at one point, no more will I come down and talk with men. He also seems to have power to control men to do His will. Just a few of many examples: hardening Pharoe's heart towards Moses. Hardening the hearts of men to cause war. Causing men to come with the sword. Deciding what the outcome will be. He seems to have a lot of say and control in the events of the Old Testement. He gets right up in there. Is it fair to say that after the Old Testament, we have more free will? He's not going to hold our hand anymore and keep doing things for us. He's given us all the tools and knowledge to fend for ourselves? Real free will starts now (after old testament)?

actually the bible was delivered to humanity diametrically opposed to the truth... In our day, the days of mother nature before she awoke.. the solutions to many poblems had been worked out by varioius means so long before today what we call the devil used the bible and half truths to conquer the world through religion... we do not come from paradise... there is a plan to make earth like paradise .. the plans were formed from or through mother nature.. it is through mother nature that free will comes.... so paradise is a prophecy not a history... a lot of the OT is a record of Armageddon not history, making it a prophecy..

What makes you think we have free will, i.e. the ability to seek out God? In both the old and New Testaments, I believe that free will is denied, otherwise predestination would not even have been mentioned.

Well, Edward, How about Ananias and Sapphire, struck dead in church service for cheating on their offering.

How about the Herod that killed James with the sword. He accepted praise that belongs to God and was eaten on the spot by worms.

And how about Paul muting the one who asked to pay for salvation?

And the Herod that killed the babies in Bethlehem--he died that very year.

How about that guy they kicked out of church in 1 Corinthians for immorality.

Yes, Jesus said it would be easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for the smallest mark in God's law to change.

The world was here last time I looked, so there must still be a standard of righteousness that God requires you to obey.

The plan of salvation is described in detail when a Bible code is revealed--God's last day message, http://abiblecode.tripod.com

He got lazy like in Noah's ark where he flooded the place and killed everyone, although this time he couldn't even be bothered doing that, so he went off to watch Oprah

The NT was the beginning of a dark age where divine law was made subserviant to Man made law.

The pendulum has swung the opposite way.....

Mans free will is not as great as members of man kind thinks.. And it was when Jesus came and died is the main reason that God does not talk to mankind any more.. For we are suppose to talk to God in Jesus name now.. God no longer have to deal with man-kind in the way he use to do.................................................
