As soon as I ask a question about creation or religeon, people automatically jump on me and tell me im an athiest (which I am not), and that I am insulting people. Hows about all those people get off theyre high horse and realise a question is just a question, thats why this site is here. To get peoples opinions. So RELAX people and stop being so sensitive.

I think alot of people expect others to ask questions that are insulting and intended to disrespect. Because they are expecting to see this, they see it whether it is or not and react to it as if it is.

Well, I think many people come from different cultural backgrounds and they have different types of education and belief. It is good to be considerate in some sense but we can't control people's feedback from what we talked about. However, I believe that it is a better way for people to ask questions that they want to ask about religion because it may not act as an insult, but as a new way for people to understand more about other's religion. All I can say is, we all have the freedom to ask but people will also have the freedom to react.

Questioning does not equal doubt; Questioning means the gray matter is making neural connections. Go for it. I stand by you.
It all also just depends upon the reasons why people come here. Some come to prove their point and that is it.

This is my opinion of the choice of words and phrasing of most questions in the Religious section:

1. The asker refers to people who don't believe as s/he does as stupid, crazy, weird, silly, etc etc etc.

2. The replier refers to people who don't believe as s/he does as stupid, crazy, weird, silly, etc etc etc.

Why do so many people not stay objective? I think the topic is one that involves social brainwashing that each and every one of us has been exposed to since birth (ditto for women's issues, race issues, and homo issues). Many folks don't even realize they are being insulting by their choice of vocabulary or phrasing. Worse, some people come here specifically to insult others.

I asked a question today and some people jumped to the conclusion I didn't know the answer to it. I have asked questions to see how or what people think about it.
It's a human flaw, and some people are judgemental. How they react isn't my problem, its theres.
