mm in Mexico pololo doesn't mean anything and a fiancee its a prometida y had my first novia when i was 13 and thats it im not gettin merried to her, indeed i don't know what's up with her life and never met her parents or something as a matter of fact i cant remember her last name =P

It all depends on what Spanish speaking country you say it.
For example: In Chile you say: Necesito un pololo. (just a boyfriend) NOVIO it is more serious. Tener novio is to be engaged. (that is: a ring on your right ring finger, and a
permission from your in laws.
