...Then they say, well don't believe what you read here, go talk with your (insert mentor figure / professional). Why go through the trouble of answering if you are going to tell them not to listen? Leave your opinion and don't apologize for it, if you have to apologize say something else or keep it to your self. This isn't to say you should not suggest that they seek outside help, but they asked a question and don't deserve to be hounded for asking your opinion. Agree? Disagree? Opinions? Have you ever felt like this? Personally this is my first question though i have answered and in reading some of the other answers I was inspired to put this one out there.

I have ever met. She claims to be all religious and a good woman. But she talks ill about me and tells people she hates me. Last night I repeated a statement she made to me to a friend whichwas a statement that hurt me very much. She ( mother in law to be ) went crazy and started screaming and yelling. SHe made the statement that her family was a better family than mine because my parents are not religious and she is.

What the hell am I going to do?? I love her son, but I do not know if I can take much more of this.

Do you really not see the difference between two consenting adults having the right to marry, and a human marrying an animal...or even worse, an adult marrying a child.

An animal does not consent to such...and a child, is too young to be able to make rational decisions. No...one should not be able to marry an animal or a child...but, yes two consenting adults of the same sex should be able to marry.

Is your heart that twisted and are you that blind? It is like comparing apples and oranges.

As stated yesterday, if I do not have equal rights to marry whom I love...(another consenting adult)...why should I have to pay equal taxes...which considering I do not have children as a tax write-off and do not get to file jointly...I am actually paying more in taxes than our hetero counterparts.

Your thoughts?

All religions come down to a basic building block of faith. There is not one that can claim to have factual evidence as it's basis. It's only possible for one to be right, so the logical argument is that all are most probably wrong.

This being the case, why does it seem that every theist is obsessed with believing they are right because of their faith?

Rapturist are so full of bologna..... they have taken small pieces from the bible and built their own time table and definition of the end of the world around it. Do you believe in "Rapture"? it is NOT part of the bible.

simply refused to answer the bigoted questions that keep appearing? Even if only for a day? Would it have any impact at all? Or would they just ry and find another target for their hate? I admit sometimes these people really get me boiling and I get too preachy. However, I am really considering trying the silent treatment. Not that I think they will go away but to send them a message. A message that we, gay and straight are not willing to waste our time with immature inane postings. What do you think?

God states not to contaminte your body, but ins't eating junk foods also contaminating the body.

Then a true christian should not eat at Mc Donalds or any fast food place, you should not eat anything that is fried as that creates cancer over time, should not eat chips becuase they have cancer creating chemicals and should not drink sodas, or coffee as coffee could be addictive and shrinks your veins. In fact cancer usually occurs because of what we stuff our selfs.

A true christian should have a strict diet of natural fruits and vegies and some fish and meat but not to much.

Also a christian should not be overweight. I see a tons of overweight people (you might be one of them) in all church denomanations, including JW's. Isn't that hipocresy?

Did you know been overweight is cause all sort of cancers and deseases???I know that smoking is bad for your health, but why do you judge when you yourself are contaminating your own body?

lets say if i were to say that in general i dont find black people or asians physcially attractive to me. does it make me a racist? or is it just like saying i like blondes but not brunettes?
what if i say i am not attracted to Caucasians is that more acceptible? if so why? i understand it's a touchy subject but i am writing a paper about it so pls give an honest answer.

My husband saw an ad for a job so he phoned up. The lady said for him to meet her in a hotel at a given time but wouldn't tell him what it was about. I told him not to go as it sounded fishy, I then e-mailed her myself to ask her what it was about. She said it was some sort of dieting thing. Does this sound genuine to you?
