Please shed some light on this for me, any experiences, good or bad would be helpful.
Examples like what you found was missing in the relationship, if either you or your spouse changed, etc.

I had an interesting, yet frustrating conversation with my mother, a very devout and judgemental Catholic this morning and I would like some insight from a christian standpoint.
My mother says that I shouldn't be hypocritical and baptize my son when I don't take my family to church. My stance is, I don't take my family to church, because 2 kids, alone (my husband works weekends) is a little too hard right now. Also, our faith, and religion, I feel, is generated at home, not necessarily at a building with other people. Don't get me wrong, I see why we should go to church, I just don't feel like a bad Christian because I teach my daughter her religion at home.
What do you all think?

In the Christian belief is the act of sodomy sin, or is it the same sex relationships commiting the act that is seen as "unnatural" and abominable?

I am trying to find a Lutheran church that will baptize my son but I'm having trouble. We don't belong to a church in our town, we are new to the area (*in the past year) and haven't found one that we like. We also weren't church goers where we came from. I would like to think that the church would want to bless my child, regardless of a commitment that I have made, or am willing to make. I was raised Catholic and now I am trying (for the sake of my family) break into the Lutheran church, but I can't find one that fits my criteria (nursery, VBS, sunday school, in the area). How should I get my son baptize? I want it to happen soon, he's getting older, and the Godparents have ridiculous schedules. What can I do?

I have a list of about 17 so far, but, I would like some input from others on what they see as the most common questions.

This question has been asked a couple of different ways and usually gets bombarded with smart alec answers from Atheists and Pagans.

Before any one posts some ridiculous "no proof" or "no evidence" for God answer to make a total fool of themselves please look up the basic rules of evidence. You will easily find that the definitions of evidence are such that there is a preponderance of evidence for the existence of God.

Oh, and lets keep the foolish "why didn't God make everyone slaves so they cannot choose to do bad things and hurt people" answers out too. It is obvious you cannot have both slaves and choice, you either have one or the other.

And the silly "Why does God let bad things happen to me" answers are also pretty lame, it is not what happens to us that is important. It is what we do and how we think that is important.

Thanks

I'm working on a serie of short stories turning around mythical/folkloric creatures.
But I'd like to do it about creatures that haven't often been used in litterature.
For the moment I've got: Wendigo, Erlking, Manticore...

When I was a child, my uncle used to take me down into his basement, turn out all the lights and he'd ask me to pray to Saint Desdexonus until he appeared. Every time, without fail, the godly hands of Saint Desdexonus would appear, stroking me upon my body and allowing me to do what Scripture says: "And verily, you must allow Him into you without hesitation, for little is the pain in comparison to the great rewards in Heaven."

How does "SCIENCE" explain that I was visited by a heavenly being almost every week for most of my childhood? It was only when my uncle went to prison that the visitations stopped.
