Since people have free will and people are responsible for most of the cruelty in the world, God is not to blame. His blamelessness was fulfilled by Christ who is the model both for man and of a suffering God, hence the titles "Son of Man" and "Son of God". We all need to follow gospel order to negate the world's cruelty and in practice that means to do without some of our worldly comforts.

God has never been cruel to us, but we'd like to see it that way. When a child is not permitted what he wants, the child thinks it's cruel, but in fact it's for his good. On the other hand, we've mostly been ungrateful and we forget to count all the blessings that he bestows on us.

I don't agree. Does God force men to fight with men? Does God force another to rob another or to kill or to cause any other kind of harm? Does God force us to go to war? Is this God being cruel to his people or is that the will of mankind? There are lots of arguments for there being a God as there are arguments for there not being a God. Neither you or I will be able settle this until it is time for us to die. If I am right then I am in for a good afterlife . If I am wrong, I lived the end.

No. God exists.

I don't know what you mean by cruel to his own people. Furthermore, God does not play favorites - we are all God's children.

And who assigns that a god cannot be cruel to his own people?
If it is people, it is worthless.....
If it is God, it is a proof that God exists.

see the confusion??

surely, yet perchance this is our perception of the god we worship extremely than the nature of the god itself which motives the problem. Islam potential "the way of submission", and many Muslims search for suggestion from with their prophet M'hamad with "p.b.u.h." in the experience that they elect peace on their prophet, and also search for suggestion from with Al'lah as "the Compassionate and Merciful" then what's with each and each of the Al Q'aida? Christianity an identical: Jesus is truly a lot a God of grace and forgiveness, it truly is ideal with the help of Romans, or perhaps contained in the "previous testomony" (Tanach) God is shown as indignant yet pleading with Israel to "in basic terms come decrease back"...brooding like a rejected father. all yet all over again a lot has been executed contained in the call of God with the help of faulty Jews and Christians. perchance it isn't the fault of the god, notwithstanding the fault of the faith that has outfitted up round him? yet certain, those who have self assurance their god is nasty also will be nasty...properly executed pastime who took a beating from God yet got here out worshipping Him in basic terms an identical. yet then those with a gracious and loving God might want to be fairly large to have as neighbours once you're down. :-)

I believe in the God and Goddess. And I believe we made this world what it is, not the Gods. If you don't like then quit whining and do something about it.
