then why did he only appear to a small group of people in a small town in the middle east? Why didn't he appear to the Mayans?
I understand that christians say that their god will judge them differently, but why? Is it too hard for Jesus/god to just appear to everyone and teach them what they need to know?

I'm not talking about general home-schooling materials in general (those are everywhere), but specifically Christian materials.

For example, what materials can I use to teach young kids about the evils of homosexuality, evolution, fotosynthesis, birth control, etc.?

I was inspired by another poster who misspelled "witness" as "witiness". I propose that, from now on, all Christians be referred to as "Jehovah's Witless".

Who's with me? Can we start a whole new meme here?

i recently asked about sexual acts the christian god doesn't approve of. apparently masturbation is one of them.

i can't imagine that people can actually go their whole lives without doing this, especially as a teenager. now i assume they can repent their sin of masturbating, but how many times can you repent before you just aren't allowed into heaven?

But yet as a Mulism I still study and respect the Gospels because Allah commands it in the the Holy Qur'an. All I am saying is that whether you are Muslim, Christian, Jewish, Atheist or Agnostic and so on, you will have your beliefs misrepresented by a group of "extremists"

"But behold, if ye will awake and arouse your faculties, even to an experiment upon my words, and exercise a particle of faith, yea, even if ye can no more than desire to believe, let this desire work in you, even until ye believe in a manner that ye can give place for a portion of my words."

Alma 32:27

What is the difference between desire-based belief and wishful thinking?

Why would anyone then assert that the New Testament is literal? If telling stories that had meanings that were more important than the actual events of the story was a method for teaching used by Jesus, why assert that it has to be literally true? Why insist on literalism, when Jesus' message was more important than his words?

if so, how do you know? Keep in mind that the more we look at how the world really is (via science) the more errors we find in the Bible. For instance, evolution is a fact (only contested be people with a huge vested interest in self-deception, otherwise known as "faith").

Creationist often ask Evolutionist: What came first? Was it the Chicken or the Egg? The Evolutionist have no answer to this sensible question because there is no answer.

Creationist only have the correct answer to this question. The Holy Bible declares in Genesis 1:24 "And God said, let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so......and God saw that it was good. All animal life and the Creation of man was created by God on the sixth day of Creation.

Yes my friends they were created with the "Appearance of Age". There was no evolution in this process because a baby wouldn't be able to sustain itself without its mother and the reasonable mental development with which it could reasonably care for itself.

By the word of God the Universe, Earth and all Life came into existence. Absolutely. God is omnipotent, Eternal and all Wise.

Tithing as I see it is a Law of God. there was tithing in the Bible way before Moses even appeared. Genesis 14:18-20,28:20-22,33:11. Then they say that tithing is strickly OT and I am going by NT, well, In the NT Jesus told His deciples to sell all their possesions and bring them to the poor. So if you are following NT you need to have an estate sell. The NT also talks about this in Acts 2, Acts 4, Proverbs 3 . To me this means that tithing is a law of God, what do you think. Please use Bible scriptures to back up your answers.
