As someone above me said, 'Non-Jews' are not bound by those commandments -- They only seem to like 'Leviticus 20:13', concerning homosexuality. That's a favourite!!

Haven't we been through this before?

Non-Jews don't have to keep the various dietary, sacrificial, atonement and clothing/cooking implements rules set forth in Mosaic law.

There's a variety of scriptural sources for this. Read Galatians.

Also, not everything in the Old Testament is a rule for all time. Even orthodox Jews will wear garments of cloth made of two kinds of material. Why focus on Christians here? Why not ask Jews why they wear garments of cloth made of two kinds of material? Why not ask Muslims the same question?

Basically, you haven't even scratched the surface of understanding the Bible, and you simply are at the level of searching for isolated quotes that you can fling out there for the purpose of berating another person's beliefs.

Leviticus was written for the children of Israel. They were lost and spent a year at the base of Mt. Sinai, they were nomadic people in a barren land, forced to live together and they needed guidelines for hygiene and health and rules for worship and community.
God set up some rules for them, that does not mean they are meant for us in this time.
the point of the Leviticus though is that God desires holiness, and something we can not achieve on our own and so it in time God sends Jesus so that we ca be made Holy through Him.

I believe God did not give the Children of Israel those rules just to be mean. There were good reasons for them....some of which we are just now finding out. This particular rule I think has to do with the way that air gets to our skin through fabric. There are many problems with some fabrics such as rashes, yeast infections, etc. when our skin does not get enough air. Just think for a second....doesn't it feel really good to your skin when you wear something that is 100% cotton? There is a reason for that. God is very smart....it might be a good idea to learn from His rules!

Yes, but I'll openly admit I haven't thought twice about Levitical law since we studied it in church about 2 years ago. Levitical law is all about making yourself holy enough to worship and be in the presence of God. We aren't able to make ourselves holy enough, that's what Jesus is all about. So to condemn anyone based on Old Testament Law is ... well .... silly.

Old Testament laws were given to the Jewish nation, not to Christians.

I'm a dyed in the wool atheist but did it ever occur to you that this passage is an allegory?

Jesus freed His followers of the requirement to follow Old Testament Laws. Which means the "Ten Commandments" don't really count any more, either! LOL

The 2 cloths being spoken of is wool and linen. I dont think that anything is made of wool and linen any longer. Linen yes but separate. Wool yes but separate. They are not woven together any longer
