I'm not talking about general home-schooling materials in general (those are everywhere), but specifically Christian materials.

For example, what materials can I use to teach young kids about the evils of homosexuality, evolution, fotosynthesis, birth control, etc.?

The bible pretty much covers all that!

Depends on your age group.

contact a local christian school and find out what curriculum they use. Bob Jones University puts out some good materials. Our school uses a quite a few of them in our elementary grades.

I use a Health book with my 7th and 8th graders called Total Health: Talking about Life's choices By Susan Boe published by Rivers Edge.
It covers all the topics kids worry about these days from a Christian perspective.

Another book you might consider reading and teaching from is Bruce and Stan's guide to God. It has several chapters that deal with the arguments for creation and the existance of God. It's written in a very user friendly format and has humor and a very direct method of communicating. Again, all biblically based. It's out of print but you can usually find copies really cheap on Amazon.com.

Far as I know, photosythesis is not one of the "evils" you should be worried about. It's a process by which plants convert sunlight into energy combined with carbon dioxide and converts it to oxygen for us to breath. There is nothing "non biblical" about that......It's part of the glorious world that God created for our enjoyment and to sustain our lives....
Nor do I think birth control is "evil". I think that promoting it as a way to have sex outside of marriage is bad. But practicing birth control as part of responsible family planning within a marriage doesn't go against anything biblical that I can see either....

Check out both of those books...I think you will find they are just what you are looking for.

I can also recommend some other materials if you are interested...

Against the foolishness of evolution, there is a beautiful book named "The Evolution Cruncher", which is set up in a format for teaching. Those who are homeschooled grow up in the fear and admonition of the Lord, much better. There are many at my church who are homeschooled and they are much more noble, honorable, respectable, and smarter than the children who are left to the evils of an ungodly school system. If you would like, you can give me your email address and I can get you in contact with godly people who really have the children's best interests in view, for eternity, for their character.

Try Ken Ham at Answers in Genesis. He can teach your kids about how science is evil and how God created Tyranosaurs to be companions to Eve's children and help drag Adam's wagon for him as he worked in the Garden.
