That's a good one.

I'd just like to throw in that the *Jewish* interpretation of Mosaic law does evolve as the situation we live in changes. We have our own ways of doing this that are still respectful of the tradition and history and keep the whole thing in a dialogue of past and present.

It's the fundamentalist Christians who insist that interpretations that worked 3000 years ago should be rigidly maintained today. At least for homosexuals, they do. They have even stranger ideas about Jewish people.

Mosaic Law applies to Jews, Islamic law and tenets apply to Muslims and Christian law applies to Christians etc. That's why all the trouble in the world - no unity or universal moral or spiritual law.

According to Judaism, non-Jews are bound by the Seven Laws of Noah. Homosexual activity is not permitted for non-Jews, either:

1. Not to worship idols.
2. Not to blaspheme.
3. Not to murder.
4. Not to steal.
5. Not to be involved in illicit sexual behavior (adultery, incest, homosexuality, etc.).
6. Not to eat the limb of a living creature [not to be cruel to animals].
7. To establish courts of justice to enforce these laws.
