Question

Would someone be able to properly translate the meaning of this from Latin to English please ?

"aequus natus"

Aequus means even, smooth or fair (as in equal). Natus is the perfect passive participle of the verb nanciscor, to be born or come into being. Without further context, it is difficult to provide a good translation. If you are describing a birth, I'd suggest "he was born easily." If you're describing something more abstract, perhaps, "it came into being fairly or evenly."

But 'natus' also means, as a noun, 'years, age'.

That would translate to 'same age'

at least that's what I think it's meant to be, I did the same grammatical deliberations as your man behind me, only I did not feel the urge to share them, and I discarded anything that makes no sense, like "come into being evenly"
