No, that doesn't make you a racist. Love who you want to love.

No it does not. Perhaps you could phrase this in a positive manner by saying you are "especially attracted to..." whatever race, then no racism can be interpreted.
I feel exactly the same, some races are more attractive than others, but it varies depending on my age at the time the question was asked! Whites, blacks and Asians when I was sowing my wild oats, Latinas when I decided to settle down and marry and have kids.

No I dont look at it as being racist. I am a black woman and I think alot of white guys are gorgeous. Actually there are some cute guys from a lot of races that i come across that are gorgeous. However, I prefer to date my own race. And i'm not racist by any means. In most cases, people like to date others that look like their parents.
You're white and you guys probably have preferences like you stated: blondes and brunettes. Some blacks actually have a preference of whether they like dark skin, light skin or caramel complexion. I think everybody likes what they like and you shouldn't be judged by that.

I dont think you can really say you wouldnt date a certain race cause you are not attracted to them. I dont think you are racist but I do think you could change your mind depending on the person. Personally, In general, I am not attracted to black men. But I have seen black men who I could be attracted to. I once felt the same about Asian guys, then I dated one. I also felt the same about Indain guys, and I have dated them too. So I wouldnt say I dont date black guys, just that I havent.

First, there's no such thing as an ethnic race. There are various ethnicities and one human race.
Not being attracted to people with certain physical characteristics doesn't make you a racist unless you go further and insist that others also should share your feelings. If you're writing a paper on it, why not delve a bit deeper and ask what is it that makes us attracted to certain groups of people.
At a basic biological level, we (like all mammals) are sexually attracted to others who are more healthy since they make better mates with whom to foster healthy offspring and pass on our genes. To the extent that we have broad based attractions that are based on characteristics other than health, such as race or hair or eye color, I think they're the result of social conditioning.
I tend to think that we become conditioned at an early age to associate certain traits with physical beauty or affluence and others with lack of beauty and poverty and the vast majority of people simply respond to that conditioning.
For much of its history, Europe and then America have actively tried to associate white skin with beauty and privilege and dark skin with ugliness and primitiveness. The media have done this, governments have done this and to a much lesser degree, this still goes on. Those associatipons make a powerful impact on perceived desirability of individuals as sexual partners.
I'd give the increased preference that many Asians have for "Westernized" eyes as a another example. They've been conditioned by the mass media to see Western eyes as more attractive than their own, but I'm not aware of anything in the history of any Asian country that would have led to such a preference in the absence of the influence of Western media. It's simply conditioning.
These types of conditioned attractions are learned and can be unlearned. Many people who claim thay "could never" date a person of this or that ethnic group ultimately come to see that they can find people of that ethnic group attractive as a result of deconditioning themselves.
So, being selectively attracted to people is not racism per se, but it is an indication of the degree to which our society still conditions people to regard some groups as more attractive than others based on factors that have nothing to do with desirability of producing healthy offspring.

First, may I suggest that you take the time and make the effort to improve your writing skills? It would make your opinions seem a bit more intelligent.
Secondly, our brains operate in such a way that we are attracted to people who are like us. In addition, we develop our idea of beauty from observing the people around us. If we are exposed mostly to people who are one ethnic background, we will be attracted to those people.
There are some books you might want to look at: "Why We Believe What We Believe," by Andrew Newberg, has a chapter that investigates the neurological factors of attraction, for example.

I don't think it makes you a racist at all. It's a personal preference that many people are just too weak to accept, and that's unfortunate. It's not like you are stereotyping. It's solely a preference based on your tastes.

no it doesn't make you a racist. beauty is in the eye of the beholder- it means something different to everyone. we can't help who we are attracted. I can be friends with anyone of any race as long as they have the qualities I like to have in a friend (honesty, a willing ear, a sense of humor) but physical attraction is a different story.

No, no and no. I'm Asian and I don't really care if someone is attracted to me or not. People have the rights to their preferences. There are certain group of people I wouldn't never date.
