Since Revelation promised a thousand years of peace and it hasn't come yet, that means that you can't possibly correctly interpret all of Revelation as having happened in the past. Some of it must be prophecy. And if we never see it, oh well. Abraham never saw the fulfillment of the prophecy God gave him either but it came to pass.

Supposedly a lot of specific (in a vague way) stuff has to happen first, including the rebuilding of a particular temple (Good luck with that. As I recall my moder geography, the site this is supposed to happen on has a big mosque on it. No Judaic or otherwise temple will be build there as long as the Muslims have it.) Then there'll be this huge war. Then peace.
Of course, everyone would be dead (or enslaved into a theocracy whether they wanted it or not)...but it would be peaceful.

You are in error.
Christianity doesn't promise 1,000 years of peace, God does.
So if you are going to claim that there is false advertising, then realize that you were inaccurate by what you said. I really don't believe that you care in the first place, it's just that sometimes you seem to want to be fair, and at other times your are just being spiteful. I am thinking that you are just spiteful now, so I guess I will be not answering your questions very much.

So you fell for the 'thousand years of peace' shtick too??
You didn't read the fine print: 'Thousand years of peace to occur only after mankind has wiped itself off the face of the planet'

If a politician doesn't come through on his promises, we call them bare faced liars. I think christianity should be demoted and relegated to a backwater somewhere. It might give them some perspective and help deflate their oversize ego's.

Read Revelation in the Bible for more clearer understanding about this one thousand year reign. Anyway, you and I are not going to see this happening unless you are left behind for not standing firm to the faith that Jesus subscribes.

Christianity didn't promise it.........God did!
If you are referring to the inquisitions and the crusades, these were NOT christians operating. It was kings and popes getting money and real estate. (in Gods name) BLASPHEMY!
