why are we here, anyone have some insight on that in relation to what the bible say's, or what you think about it. Also why do we have the " wanting to continue in life " spirit, this world is going to hell in a hand basket and I don't understand why people call 9-1-1 to live when if you read god's word then if your dieing of natural causes then why would you want to not go be with the lord who created you and loves you? why do we want to continue living even if the life we live (that would have ended long ago if not for modern medicine) is verry terrible, example living on life support machines like Chrostoper Reeves. Someone please help me, i need guidance in life, im confused and I think we all are.

It seems that Shiite and Sunni Muslims have different beliefs that put them in conflict but what are the religious beliefs of the other ethnic group of Iraqi's, the Kurds? Also even though I'm jewish and don't support missionaries trying to convert Jews why not send missionaries into Iraq to convert the Iraqis to a Christian religion so they won't fight each other any more.

Please try and give objective advise and opinions. I am gay. I have a best friend for the past 8 years. We share a bed (as friends). This friend likes kissing me, and I don't mean a peck on the cheek. He also likes holding me. While kissing and hugging he gets a huge erection. However, he keeps on telling me that he is straight and wouldn't like to have a sexual relationship with men. He hopes to find a girlfriend someday, get married and have a family. What is going on in his mind? Will a straight guy get aroused in this situation? He also says he kisses me and holds me because he knows I like it, and I am so important to him and in his life that he wants me to be happy.

Does god have the power to re-grow a limb for an amputee who prays for a miracle?
If Yes,
How do you know that, since there isn't one case in any medical journal or hospital anywere of an amputee EVER re-growing a limb?
Do you think that god helps you in your everyday life when YOU pray?
If yes:
Why does god help you with trivial things like job interviews and finding your car keys....but doesn't help any amputees re-grow limbs?

For me, TEXAS baby!!!
Texas has it all--large cities, weird idiosynchrocies (i.e. Austin is one in and of itself, for the most part,) weird people, very friendly people, diversity in landscape, warm weather year-round (sometimes too warm,) beaches, mountains, piney woods, deserts, plains, grasslands, wide rivers, many cultures, great universities, no income taxes, the most gorgeous women, Blue Bell ice cream, etc.
I guess you take the bad and good everywhere, but Kentucky doesn't have as good of a job market, and certainly not all the friendly people. Plus, the rednecks and hillbillies become more scary the closer to Corbin and Middlesboro you go.

I happened to notice that restaurants and coffee shops give public servants such as police officers, firefighters and such a special rebate. I know they do a good service but so do alot of ordinary workers why do they get preferential treatment for stuff like that. Isn't that like taking a bribe sort of speak.
