About the draft- there could never be any-- that would mean the "privileged" children - including the Bush girls, would get a draft number and would have to be drafted-- I was around for the Vietnam draft-- it wasn't fair then and it won't be fair now.

President Bush says we are in global struggle for free people in the world, fight for our lives, fight for our future survival, but only committ about 140,000 soldiers to Iraq and have them work over time again and again. Why not ask more to serve through draft? Why not ask citizens to conserve energy to stop indirectly funding extremists? If we are in this grand daddy of all global struggle and why is he unwilling to call for draft or other measures to fight for it all?
He says we're in big, huge struggle, but he apparently thinks only few Americans should take all the burden so the rest can go to Texas ranch and ride mountain bikes.

Not nearly as tired as I am of all the partisan puling and whining in the government. What a bunch of worse than worthless pukes we have misgoverning this country. A pox on both their houses!

Give an example of what hypocrisy you are talking about.
Are you talking in general or are you talking about something like high profile Evangelical gay bashing presidential prayer buddies who take crank and have rough sex with male prostitutes sort of thing.
So what are you talking about?

Careful, sister mac! It's nearly impossible for a person to call someone else a hypocrite without becoming one him/herself.

The illegal occupation of Iraq and Katrina. Both shameful. Both worthy of impeachment (committing war crimes; dereliction of duty).
