Hebrews 10:25 says: "Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching"

This is often sited as the reason for going to church, however when this was written there was no such things as church buildings, church services or pastors. So how can it be possible this writter was talking about a church service?

He wasn't...simple as that.

Most christians today have no clue that what they call church today if far removed from the church of the bible.

To meet together could be at a house, or a coffees shop to have a meal what ever.The weekly church meeting in the NT was at a house and held for eating a meal of food together.

What we do today is not even close, not even remotely close to what this verse was talking about.

How many other verses are misused in this same way/

I saw this Law and Order episode last night. It's inspired me to ask this question.

In the episode, it was all based on a black man who killed a police officer becuase he felt it was in self defence. ( Which I happened to agree with once the story was told :P ) What I didn't agree with though, was this guy was argueing with a black man ( in the court room ) for being basically racist without knowing it for a fact first. He was just accusing him of being so. ( The man was not )

What I would like to know is, do you think it is just as wrong for a black man to accuse a white man of being racist ( providing that he had shown the very thing bothered him, that he was not racist ) , as it is for a white man being racist against a black man?

They say they are the stronger sex, but when it comes to it they just a bunch of cry babies and drama queens. For instance, when my man has a cold or are slightly sick, he acts like the end is in sught and that he could die at any minute. Do you recognise thisd at all?

concerning christianity directly and simply???

I have asked many questions to christians and it would seem that every answer to ever question is "Jesus loves you, and died for you, and its all about faith".
Now I know their are some christians out there that dont do this. And I am wondering what your Opinion is concerning the christians that do this?
