I know that each person has their own take on life, and each person believes different things. the one thing that I have found an Atheist to have in common is their knowledge of no God. and another would be Evolution.
so here's my question: do Atheists in general, believe in Energy? and do they believe that energy can be manipulated by any person?

Here is your chance Agnostics and Atheists. I am a Christian, yet I believe that a Christian should be able to answer your questions intelligently and with evidence outside the Bible also. I am currently studying this subject with a group of intelligent and educated Christians. If you do not mind helping the enemy some Give me the best reasons that you believe there cannot be a God, or that there is any possiblity that Creationism could be right. I will not promise to answer but will take the best questions and put them to the group for their answers and responses. If you want to know them my E-Mail is listed on my Avatar.
Please only science, historical, or biology based questions, I do not need to hear because you have to be stupid to believe that fairy tale. I would take no more notice of that than you do when someone says casue the Bible says so

I remember seeing a recent question about Harry Potter books being evil ( http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=ArOoOCWuSdzPF_NRzk6EHXJIzKIX?qid=20060619122523AAHiDFk ) and I wonder if Christians also consider some classics to be evil just because they also mention magic in a good way, for example; in the Wizard of Oz, Glenda was a good witch who helped Dorothy. Do Christians find the Wizard of Oz to also be a bad influence upon their children?

I read of one catholic priest, father o'calloghan who tried to return the ban on usury in the early 19th century & lost his job because the church would not support him.

I know in Islam usury is banned, so why have Christians allowed it in their faith?

Is it me, or have people's listening skills deteriorated significantly over the past few years? I have always been a polite conversationalist, who allows others to completely finish their thought when speaking, before I give my comment on it. More and more, I am finding that others do not show people the same courtesy. After I am about halfway through a sentence, people will jump in and give their opinion, not having the complete story, and, by the time they are done, they are not even close to talking about the point I was trying to make. More and more, I am finding (and I am from the old school on this, and do not enjoy doing it) that I have to interrupt them when they interrupt me, saying, "If you would please let me finish........." in order to make sure that my point is received, and I am not misinterpreted. Is it just me, or has society lost its ability to listen carefully and not assume, before listening to itself talk?

If heaven was ever seen physically, what happen to it that we can't see it today with all space exploration. In the days of Christ people knew little or nothing about things beyond the sky. The sky and heaven are not synonymous. people are expecting Christ to show up from the sky. It is high time for folks to start looking for inward or spiritual meanings. Those teaching others that heaven is in the sky are deceivers. Heaven has a beautiful spiritual reality. It is timeless, placeless, invisble, and eternal.

If God si allmighty, allpowerful, able to do anything at all, then can He build a rock.. sooo big, that even He Himself couldn't lift it up? Coz if he can't build such a rock, then He's not allmighty. And if He can, then He can't lift it, thus He's not allmighty aswell... Am I wrong?
