He is meant to have acted in a way that was considered just at the time the bible was written. By today's standards God's actions as stated in the bible would certainly not be considered just.

Yes - there is only goodness in Him, no evil. He is a loving God - not wanting anyone to perish. But there is a judgment coming and He is a just God. He cannot and will not allow sin into Heaven. How do we get to Heaven then as we are sinners? Through Jesus Christ His Son - the only Way. Blessings.

God is, and His ways are just.
They do not always make sense to humans, but humans do not know the master plan either.
He is bringing all things together under His own control.
We have free will, but His master plan will not be deterred by our free will.
We can only effect small things in the master plan, but we do not impede the master plan (Master's Plan).

The god of Abraham is a childish, jealous, venegeful, ignorant, cruel, inhumane beast who (if he really existed) would be the most dire enemy of mankind in the entirety of history.
Thank GOD he's JUST a myth.
