Ah, the healing touch of Sharman, but don't squeeze the Sharman. Do not squeeze the Sharman.

'Shamanism'.

-"refers to a range of traditional beliefs and practices similar to Animism that claim the ability to diagnose and cure human suffering and, in some societies, the ability to cause suffering. This is believed to be accomplished by traversing the axis mundi and forming a special relationship with, or gaining control over, spirits. Shamans have been credited with the ability to control the weather, divination, the interpretation of dreams, astral projection, and traveling to upper and lower worlds. Shamanistic traditions have existed throughout the world since prehistoric times."

I believe it's spelled Charminism. According to Wikipedia, Charminism was founded by Fred Whiffle in 1964. The sect uses rolls of papers as talismans to ward off evil spirits called Shingels (alternative Hemroides) that enter the body and shred it from within. It is considered bad luck to squeeze these talismans.

shamanism, tirst off.

and its not just a native american religion, they are one form of it, there are diffrent forms of shamanism, its a form of paganism that bases its thinking and lifestyles off of nature, alot like wicca, but shamanism is less magical (still with some) but more on down to earth living with nature and (in higher forms) ability to command nature (again, only in some forms)

In the short amount of time that I have spent on here, I have learned that if you really want to know the truth about a religion, this is the LAST place you should look.
