I can only tell you what the scriptures say.

I can't find this one right off hand, but I promise it's in the Bible and I've prayerful read the Bible, 6 times the old Testiment and 14 times the new, so I know it's in there. In my faith we also use other scriptures not just the Holy Bible and in each of them as well this statement is made.

It says, "In my Father's house are many Mansons, if it were not so, I'd have told you so...I go to prepare a place for you..."

There is not just one degree of Glory. There is the Celestrial and the highest degree in the Celestrial is Exaltation, that is where Heavenly Father dwells and Jesus. There is the Telestial and Terestial Kingdoms and within each are levels. We go to the Kingdom suited to how we chose to live while here in mortality, also based upon what we understood and then live up to the knowledge of Gospel truths gained.

Only those who denie the Holy Ghost and turn again a testimony of Jesus Christ once they have a Testimony of His existance end up in Hell. Those who are evil here in mortality will go to Spirit Prison for 1, 000 years, during Christ's Millenial rain (I know it's not spelled rain, but it sounds the same and I can't spell the other word that sounds like rain.) At the end of the Millenium, they will inherit the lowest degree of glory, having paid the price for their own sinces because they'd fully repent and accept and live up to the attoning power of Jesus Christ.

Christ's attonment garuntees that every person born into this world will have eternal life; it does not promise us eternal life in his presence or in the presence of our Heavenly Father. What degree of Glory we each inherit depends on how they have lived their life, have they truly repend of sins, how well if they knew the teachings of Jesus Christ adn Heavenly Father did they live up to those teachings and repent, trutly repent when they had sinned.

I'd suggest that rather then worry about Heaven or religion for now, you try the following and listen to the Holy Ghost as He bears witness of Gospel truths.

Read the scriptures, all of them for yourself. No one can know the truth based on others testimony. Each time you being reading pray to understand the language of the scriptures and the lessons being taught and how to apply them to your own life. Then when you finish praying ask Heavenly Father to help you in your quest to learn the Gospel truths. Always end your prayers in the name of Jesus Christ Amen. WHY? Becuase the scriptures teach us that we pray to the Father through his on Jesus Christ.

I promise you that if you'll read from beginning to end all the scriptures and pray over them, you'll find the answers for yourself.

GOOD LUCK in your quest.

There is only one true religion and that is the total and unwavering belief in God, Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit and the Bible, the Word of God. People make up religions. They formed the Catholics and Baptists and Islamics and so on, God didn't. The truth of His word lies within the pages of the Bible and in heaven everyone will know the truth and there will be no division whatsoever.

There are several levels to heaven.
There are several choirs of angels
In the same way, there are greater and lesser human spirits.
"In my Father's house, there are many mansions."
A house is small, yet a mansion is large.

Also, do not forget that "every knee shall bend" That is to say, we will lay aside our differences and he will be our entire focus.
