muslims didn't do anything. individuals did. if christians forgave muslims, that means innocent muslims who did nothing wrong are being blamed just because they are muslims for something they didn't do. thats not really fair.

forgive which Muslims for what?
and why are you asking forgiveness from Christians? how have you harmed them? do you think that being a Muslim is something for which you need forgiveness?!
if this is about 9/11 Christians aren't the only Americans that were affected, ya know.
in any case ... ALL of Islam is not to blame that a few crazy zealots committed mass murder.
PS. how weird. the Christians responding are actually answering this question as if there is something for which Islam owes them an apology.
if that's how it works ... when are you Christians gonna ask for forgiveness from the nonChristians you've persecuted and mass murdered over the centuries?

The forgiveness from God is at His prerogative. But Christians have been taught to love even their enemies. They should forgive their enemies for whatever wrongs committed. That is super. But they must not abdicate their responsiblity to see no further innocent lives vanquishing or destroyed. They must take appropriate actions to stop the wrongs that cost the loss of lives which is also forbidden by God. So the whole world over must preach Christian value that you should love your brother and enemy. When this happens, this will be a win win situation. Forgiving does not mean more wrongs should be perpetrated ny any side. What do you say?

God forgives everyone! Christians Muslims everybody! Most people understand the Bible wrong! God will forgive your mistakes. If you feel sorry for what you did and will not do it again. Then and only then will he forgive you. Let me explain.
God I am sorry for having sex when I am not married.
Please forgive me.
The next day do it again!
Oh I can have sex again because God will forgive me!
Have sex
Afterwards God plz forgive me!
Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo no no and no!
Only if you make a mistake. If you do someting over and over again it is not a mistake!

Forgiveness and Consolidation are two totally seperate things. Christians are called to forgive others and have mercy on others. But if they won't accept you forgiveness, what can you do?

God forgives people when they repent and come to Jesus. God also tells us to defend the faith.
I don't know specifically what you are talking about, so I can't comment intelligently on the circumstances. There is such a thing as rightous anger, however. We are supposed to get angry about certain things, like attacks against God or Jesus.
However, we are also to be peacekeepers whenever possible. We are to be meek. So even in our anger, our response should be a balanced one.
Hope this helps.

If only it were a simple matter of forgiveness. Generally someone has to admit that they were wrong or made a mistake in order to be granted forgiveness...by God or anyone else. Not so in this particular case..the perpetrators did not do something by mistake...they believe that they are doing Gods work and following his instructions. (and please remember, this is not all Muslims we are talking about here)

Forgiveness is that simple??
For your clarification : God forgive you only when you repent and beg for forgiveness. You must beg for it you know. You can't just sit and wait for forgiveness after doing wrong.
"The door will open for those who knock. Will be given for those who ask and will find only when you seek."
Very basic characters of the Christianity.

God forgives everybody but they have to 'clean themselves of every defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in God’s fear'.[2 Corinthians 7:1]. That means God forgives everybody who 'repents, and turns around so as to get they're sins blotted out' [Acts 3:19].
