Cashless Society woulnd't be any different except you'd carry a lighter wallet *initially* . as more and more places accept plastic and electronic forms of currency people's wallets have started Shrinking physically . however as more and more people jump into the foray of different form of electronic transactions one wonders if it will remain the same limited number of Major operators for ever or if eventually we'll have to carry many forms of plastic Identifications as well . Biometric ID's will probably never be widely acceptable except for Government records so its not likely they will expand . of course every one still have the same amount of *currency * or maybe less as it gets easier to spend :) . some thieves would have a harder time stealing other easier as crimes will economic crimes will evolve as well.
all in all. it will likely be pretty much the same as we have today . and have had ever since the introduction of currency which enabled debt and Interest on debt .

Cashless society is in basic terms achievable if the syndicated crime concerning drugs, palms, prostitution and terrorism is abolished from the face of this earth. that's no longer achievable via fact drug sellers, palms sellers, terrorists, prostitution racketeers acquire political and spiritual sanction and patronage international huge to serve their egocentric hobbies. the international can never be an ideal or a appropriate place to stay, there constantly has been and shall constantly be injustice in this international, you're taking it love that's or surrender it and circulate to the seclusion of mountains or forests. money shall constantly rule the international of the ignorant and the grasping.

Bad deal! All we would need is one real good computer foul up, and we are all screwed. I'll keep my cash thank you very much.
I don't think everyone understands your question. Are you talking about a society where all financial transactions are electronic, or a society where nobody has or uses money?

Actually, this reality is already here with the inventions of EFT transactions and DNA security clearances. The reality of the novel Brand New World is frightening.

Well I think it would be harder. Wouldn't people never have money? Without money, you can not function in normal society.

Advantage, no one goes hungry, no one goes without medical help, no one goes without any of there needs. Unless you want to of course.
Disadvantages, no one cleans out septic tanks, no one flips burgers at McDondalds, no one becomes a hotel maid. I wouldn't take a crappy job if I didn't have to, would you.
