I know that when greeting someone who is japanese and korean one bows down as a form of respect... do i have to bow when greeting a chinese? ^^;;;

A co-worker and a low level supervisor spit in a customer's coffee cup. I told the manager but she is not going to discipline the co-worker. I find the mere act disgusting, and with today's health concerns, even consider it assult. Should I take this furhter. Report it to the District Manager? I already told the co-worker I thought it was disgusting.

whats the whole point of life if we're just going to die? One day, Earth is probably going to die out anyway. So whats the point of living onn earth if when we die, we'll meet God? Why don't we start off in heaven anyway?

They say love your brother but in a question asked on here people with other religion and beliefs got the thumbs down for stating their opinion about a christian matter. I got a thumbs down for asking questions like Why do bad things happen to good people? So would that be considered hypocritical?

I am constantly at odds and struggle with my faith and spirituality in regards to my marriage, my sexual desires and the realities facing society. I am very reserved about many of my feelings and notice that I stuggle with doing what I want and what is traditionally seen as "wrong". For example, I love sex but I like it with a BDSM flavor to it, but it is highly at odds with my catholic upbrining. I just don't feel "right" following my religious beliefs at all times, but at the same time I feel very alone in my sexual desires.

Am I totally jacked-up?

One of my girl friends says that all men masturbate, but I can't imagine my sweet, conservative boyfriend doing stuff like that! He struggled with porn years ago and forced himself to quit, and that's all I know about it. We're both Christians and saving sex for marriage, and I'm just a little bit disturbed that he might masturbate? What on earth would he masturbate over? Please serious answers only. Thanks! Can it be said, that any one really knows the meaning of the word day, Man's day or God's day. Adam died in the day he sinned at age 930, over 5000 years ago?

If we are still in day seven as the bible suggest and it is going to be 7000 years to end SAVED, are all days 7000 years?

5 religious ones, 1 on relationships, 1 on hair styles, 1 against racism, oh and one coming in as I write-violation notice, violation notice, like these are old questions and answers that no one is going to read. I've just dropped back down to level one, effectively sensoring my voice, limiting me to 5 question instead of 10. Like if some doesn't like it that a like pigtails as a hair style or that I don't like racism, or I did see logic in the bible. Do they, just because they are from some kind of religious organisation have the right to bombard me with violation notices and threats to burn in hell. Why do so many people who call themselve Christians support this kind of censorship and abuse. I have been trying to understand religion but really it just seems that its all some kind of excuse to cut peoples tongues out or if you can't take a Knife to their tongue cut off their ability to communicate with other humans.
Why do religious people hate other people so much that stalk them?

I see homophobia based on the Bible, I see people advising Christians not to marry their non-religious loved one, because it would be 'unevenly yoked', I see hatred, etc, etc.

I'm not saying it's only Christians that are bad, every group has bad apples. But this is the group that keeps on telling me that "I need Jesus in my heart to be able to feel true love".

Is it weird that more and more I get the feeling there is a group of Christians that could better use a little more Jesus in their brain, instead of their so called hearts?

why did moses need to go to the mountian to recieve the 10 comandments . why didnt god just give them to him in frount of evry one ..... it seems in most religions there is someone god talks to in secret they never seem to have any witnesses that god really did talk to them .... that seems to cause doubt ...the secretcy ... it says god is no respector of persons....so why dont god just tell us what he wants us to know or at least tell the chosen ones while we r with them so we can witness it is true and not have to guess or wonder about their motives the bible says for us not to put our faith in man

If the bible and religious teachings tell us we can talk or pray to god anytime we want why do we need a priest in confession to be there listening to us spill our guts on what we did wrong . If that is the case he should not be there and neither should we ,we should just tell god ourselves and ask for forgiveness Does anyone agree?
