Can it be said, that any one really knows the meaning of the word day, Man's day or God's day. Adam died in the day he sinned at age 930, over 5000 years ago?

Gen.1:26; 5:3,5 Adam.

John 19:38-42 Jesus was placed in a sepulchre.
John 3:13-17; Acts 2:27-31; 1:9-11; Jesus ascended back to God.

If we are still in day seven as the bible suggest and it is going to be 7000 years to end SAVED, are all days 7000 years?
What would a specialist in this field say?
Could he say the earth was a certain age before plant life, animal life and life of man?

The time was from new moon to new moon. Noah gave perfect man day time at the flood, it was 375 days to dry land.

After Moses, it was new moon to new moon and Sabbath to Sabbath.

Another way the bible uses the word day is, in the day of a person, as in the day of David.

Adam was created on or around Oct 1, 4026 BCE.
It has only been 6033 years since his creation.
Jehovah views 1 day as 1,000 years.
So Adam died in that 1 day, he lived less than 1,000 years.
The creative days were 7,000 years long.

Adam did not literally die the day he sinned, he was just separated from God on that day causing death later in life. We are not still on the seventh day or the day of God's rest because he has done a lot of work since then.

I think it's called "yom" is one literal day, 24 hour period of time. Jesus used the word yom to talk about Jonah being in the belly of the whale. The same word yom was used to describe the days of creation. If we are to believe that a "yom" is more than a 24 hour period and actually long periods of time, then Jonah was in the whale thousands of years. That's not possible. Not only would the whale (fish) not live that long but it would take only days for him to pass all the way through a digestive tract. Doesn't line up unless yom is a 24 hour period.

Alot of people misinterpret a verse that says a day with the Lord is as 1000 years...right?

But that verse was not meant for people to gauge the days in time...by that verse...

2 Peter 3:8....But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

This verse simply is saying God does not regard time....That's it...Time was not created for God it was created for man...and as a matter of fact....God did not create time till Genesis 1:2-5...
Genesis 1:1 Shows that God created everything we know..the universe....the earth...the stars the moon...Etc....And remember that he created the angels to...At that time He did NOT create mankind as we know him....He created dinosaurs and the other prehistoric creatures....Mind you we are still in Genesis 1:1...because for one simple reason...God had not yet created time...it could be millions of years or billions...if that suites you...It doesn't matter to me because the clock was NOT ticking...

This does not mean I believe in evolution...it means ..that there is an explanation..about the dinosaurs ..and this is it...When God created them before man...Lucifer ..had not yet fallen...another words he had not yet become satan...And he had not yet been cast out of heaven...BUT when he did he went down to the creation of God to bring about mass confusion..and tried to get them to worship him...because his goal always was to be god ...BUT ...He never will be God..

Once he went down to the earth and caused great confusion..then you had that dog eat dog mentality...that history portrays the dinosaurs as having...it can safely be said that He also had not created night and day...so it was always day....Don't think that possible ??try telling that to the people in Alaska..where it is day time for up to 6 months at a time....it is more than likely they died in the ice -age because ..in the abscence of light is darkness and heat....however God caused this fatal darkness because he would not allow the devil to take over his creation....so NOW you have Genesis 1:2 and the earth was without form and void and darkness was upon the face of the deep....AND now you have the chronological time shown thereafter...the years were actual...

When Adam sinned in the Garden ...he died exactly how God said...immediately...because his death was spiritual...not physical...in time it became physical...death in the natural...(flesh and blood) is seperation from life...death in the spiritual...is seperation from God....this is why the bible calls the judged ...who do NOT go to heaven who have a place in the lake of fire...die the second death...read it...Revelations..21:8
But the fearful, and unbelieving, and abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

The second death is eternal seperation from God...so the first death in Adam was being seperated from God in the spirit Immediately...matter of fact Adam didn't even know he was seperated from God...he thought it was business as usual...it was evident when God looked for Adam ...and it was evident when Adam tried to shift the blame on Eve..."that woman you gave me"...he was ..just like we are...the living dead...and until Jesus comes into your life you are seperated from God ..which is why it is hard to understand spiritual things...

Make no mistake Gods word is true..and without fault..it is we who lack understanding..God bless

God vs. Science

God is sitting in Heaven when a scientist says to Him, "Lord, we don't need You anymore. Science has finally figured out a way to create life out of nothing. In other words, we can now do what you did in the beginning."

"Oh, is that so? Tell me," replies God.

"Well," says the scientist, "We can take dirt and form it into the Likeness of You and breathe life into it, thus creating man."

"Well, that's interesting. Show me."

So the scientist bends down to the Earth and starts to mold the soil.

"Oh no, no, no," interrupts God. "Get your own dirt!"
