So loving you means we're supposed to go along with anything you say and not voice our own opinions?

Both your questions are very good questions actually. A lot of people are as confused as you are on both subjects although some choose
to ignore & let life pass by. However, here's my answer to both your questions :-
1. Regd christians saying one thing & doing another, I have to be
fair to say that not only Christians do that. It is more of a
principle than a religious act of hypocrisy. It happens in all
religions, race or society.
2. Why do bad things happen to good people? In Christianity ,
it's called reap what you sow. In Buddhism it is called karma
Don't bother about the thumbs, you have a right to say whatever
you want as other people are entitled to their opinions. Don't take
it personally.
Cheers!

Because Christians have always mistaken religion, for God. Anything that back asswards can't come to any good in the end.
They are unfortunately delusional and were generations brought into a religion and followed it without questioning it and never thought to change it or reconsider their dogma or their laws...
Forgetting the good bits in the Bible that say "The letter of the Law Kills." And "He who is without sin, cast the first stone."
Jesus Christ was a rabbi, a teacher... Not a televangelist, a priest, a preacher or even a bishop or the Pope... He was just a man that just so happened to be the Son of God who came here to awaken all of us to the fact that we too are all, Sons and daughters of God and were made in His image and likeness and were given His power inherently.
Some people misuse it. Some understand it.
It is an age old story. Christians did not invent the word contradiction nor are they the only ones to fall prey to it.

Cuz they love you but didn't totally agree with a comment you made? You can agree to disagree & still care about one another! :)
Not all Christians are hypocrites. Just like not all other people are all talk and no walk.
Bad things happen to good people and in the bible you'll read some of the reasons why.

The Bible says love sinners, but not the sin.
Unfortunately, we are unable to understand all that God does and don't know why bad things happen to people we consider to be good.
Our problem with God is that many put all their emphasis into the earthly part of our lives, while God is more concerned with our spirtual lives.
God Bless

Christians are human too. We sin just like you. But I rather liked that question. I think I gave you a thumbs up. I know I answered it.

It's the nature of the beast.
If it were truth there wouldn't be so much conflict and no one would have to prove anything , it would be obvious because "actions speak louder then words"
Adversity builds strength and is the balance of nature.
Bad things happen to everyone as does good things .
thats just the way it is.
if everything was "good" we would have no concept of what is good or bad would we?

I think you're making to much out of a small thing. Don't let the thumbs down hurt your feelings, they don't mean anything.
On a larger scale though, I completely agree.

How do you know who is giving you the thumbs down?
Your sample question does not rate one.

You say that "Christians say one thing and do the opposite". And you are contrasting them to ... who ????
That statement pretty much describes everybody I have ever know or heard of to one degree or another. Don't generalize - the whole human race is full of hypocrites.
