i can agree with it, and i like it.

however most of my connection is to the element of fire, so wind and rain may not be the best analogy for me.

Pretty lame attempt at simile, that's my opinion of this quote. I'm glad it's not yours. A book is a book. The ideas in a book is what make a book great. The pages and bindings can go dissolve in the rain all they want. It is merely dead tree matter.

If i put your brains outside in the wind and rain, it will soon dissolve, thats how you will retreive the Bible.

That's a load of spiritual mysticism crap. Bibles contain no magic properties other than their ability to turn perfectly good human beings into self-righteous, egomaniacal, intolerant, and just all-around warped bastards.
It's written by humans and printed with organic materials, this is true BUT you would have to leave the damned thing outside for a long time before it just dissolved away into nothing.

The bible will take its own course of time to dissolve. But the scripture will not dissolve and it will stay ever.

The Bible is tangible, but it's Word is immortal. My God is all powerful, all knowing, and personal. You can predict, hide from, and create the wind and rain. It doesn't recognize it's own existance, let alone you.

There is no salvation in the wind
and the rain. The Earth will pass
away but God's Word is eternal.

I have seen fires from churches and a lot of bibles didn't even have a blemish. So I don't like that quote

The book will dissolve and blow away because it is only paper...but the ideas will remain as they are universal.

Man is the one who tries to diminish the Word but it stands regardless!
