How can we stop or prevent death on our roads during the christmas holidays??

I agree with the guy that said to shut down the highway systems in America. Another solution would be to stop the sales of alcohol for a 2-3 month period. That drivers would have less access and not be able to so easily drink and drive. Maybe another solution is for everyone to take anger management classes and road rage classes. That would help certainly. I know New Mexico has had a number of people killed in traffic because of road rage.

Shut down all roads during the holiday season. About the only possible way. To many variables such as weather, animals, car conditions, road conditions, etc. to do anything else.

Both sides have to be careful-and the road passing people and the drivers.

We really do lift up drunks. We don't think anything of a parent having a couple of cocktails and then hoping in the minivan. If you want to stop killing on the highways then stop promoting drinking.

make sure everyone is safe before we say bye to them and let them drive off. also, warn friends and family to be more alert during this time, as traffic will likely be heavier.

lets shun consumption of alcohol... and drugs.. there we find the right way to stop this..... of course the driver shud ve proper valid liscence.... tat's obvious
