Study finds that banning children from R-rated movies reduces tobacco and alcohol usage. Um both my best friend and I did not watch r-rated movies as children and we smoke and have the ocassional drink. What about you?

I don't believe in christianity because, in the 10 commandments it is said you will believe in One God, now all the christians believe in three god, so that's just a disavow of the prophet Moses.

They think Jesus is the son of God, would a God the creator of everything need a son. And would he need to kill him to forgive to human? He's God he's the One who forgives why does he have to kill a good man for some stupids guys?.
Why doesn't he just forgive like human forgives, do i have to kill my son for accept the forgiveness of my neighbor..

They said the bible was not modified but that's false if not why in the bible it's said that earth is not round.

Why when i commit a fault , i have to confess to the priest?
why can't i talk directly to God and ask him to forgive me.

For finish i don't think Jesus tell he's the son of God , i think he was a very good man a good prophet but a big part of his adept has diverted the rest of his community...

this last year has been horriblle for me.first thing first, my girlfriend of 5 years who i was madly in love with unexspectantly leaves me on christmas.it hurt not shortly after that i get into a bike acciden. i broke out 4 teeth,got 22 stitches in my eyelid,and 9 down my face. PAINFUL! i gotten myself ll fixed and the dental bill alone was $8600. another4500 for hospital,NEXT the same night my father catches a felony charge while i am all meessed up on oxys.i go up there qnd get q disorderly conduct ticket caus they thought i was fightin cause my face was so beat up.NEXT i get an owi.with underage and also a disorderly conduct and poss of pipe. 3500 all together. i was one week off on pyment for that case and the locked me up on a warrant and couldnt get out until paid.friend paid.THAN my cousin and i try to make some money. we got took 5500 all together and set up by police. caught a felony.BILL-$10500 lawyer-good one!!-and now i have to serve in military to avoid fed. pris.bummer

I was thinking about the old church, which is just a place for people of that religion go to worship.

Then I was thinking about when I've gone to a church, and they pass around the collection tin of course, and I think nothing of it. And that cash or checks goes into the church's treasury. The treasury keeps track of how much the church makes and has, and divides it up for different things that the church needs FOR the church. To pay the person to come preach, to pay for the buildings expenses, etc. And I was thinking how corporation it all felt. Except it's like a warped corporation that involves everyone joining the club (in order to get more people which is more $$$).

Any thoughts?

Why is it that the people who reside in Detroit ( or other poverty stricken areas) have really nice cars that are worth more that the house.?....jewelry that you can see from a mile away? and have children who grow up not really knowing the american language because so much slang is put into it from birth...........???

There are without doubt people who live faultless lives with only goodness in their hearts and whilst we may all be subject to temptation, this in itself is not a sin, in fact to resist temptation is surely an act of goodness and a demonstration of strength.
Accusing us all of being sinners who must seek the mercy of God is simply a means by which the church tries to enfeeble people of free will.
I personally would not claim to be free of sin but I know of many I would put in this category.
