The person who opens their mouth on a subject of which they have very little or no knowledge. I like the quote--"Better to keep your mouth shut and have people wonder if you're a fool, than to open it and remove all doubt."

The way they react to things as well. If they seem slower when answering questions and stuff, then people tend to think of them as an idiot.

Someone who acts as if they know everything but are actually quite ignorant and unknowledgeable strikes me as an idiot.
