I would say that English and Esperanto are related, because they share vocabulary.

More than 2. Take German and Dutch on the one hand, Malay and Bahasa Indonesia on the other. German and Dutch say "ja", Malays and Indonesians "ya". In Indonesian, the word comes from Malay, not from Dutch. Also, the Slovenians say "ja" for "yes" (coming from German). It's considered colloquial and you'll find "da" in the dictionaries, but go to Slovenia and you'll find everybody says "ja". But their language, of course, is a Slavic one.
I haven't included Scandinavian languages,as well as Frisian and Yiddish where "ja" sounds like "yo".
Also, there's English "yes" and Esperanto "jes". Zamenhof, the inventor of Esperanto, took "jes" from English. But a natural language can never be related to an artificial one, so the case fully corresponds to your criteria.

Tatar - aye
Maori- ae

similar, though not exactly the same, the Tatar is a longer variation on the curt Maori ae... and totally unrelated linguistically.

LOL. Esperanto can never be used as a comparison in these questions because it is not a real language.

Both Kiowa and Comanche use hãã as "yes". They are unrelated languages. But we can find many examples like this because of borrowing. Kiowa borrowed the word from Comanche.
