One night I was on a canoe trip and we had just eaten some magic omelletes. Wow, we had a tent village and there were chicks walking around topless and there was a huge full moon. But suddenly I saw the moon totally dissappear while my friend Benny said he was looking right at it and clearly saw it. Then it came back but it nowlooked like the Northen Lights and I started yeling the Northern Lights, the Northern Lights! Everything else was normal just the moon went wack o.

I did drugs and drank in my younger days, I had a hellofa lot of fun, all I did in my life made what I am today. I am not a loser, though I probably am a few brain cells short. ..but I know some people that never did drugs etc.. and aren't any smarter than anybody else. I can look in the mirror everyday, and I like who I see. And I am proud of her, that she had enough sense to stop. Don't pass judgment on people, that's so d*mn lame.

When I was living in a village in Wales a young man told me this. He had taken some 'magic mushrooms' (they are everywhere in Wales,) and when he was walking down the street he met a large green blob who asked him the way to the nearby town. The young man being polite walked him to the bus stop and escorted him on. then spent a few mins waving to the green blob as the bus drew away.
My thoughts were, what a nice polite young man, the kids today aren't all bad.

Early one morning after having fried all night long, a buddy and I found ourselves in a cow pasture. We had the bright idea of sneaking up on unsuspecting cows, but no actual idea of what to do once we snuck up on them.
After a number of unsuccessful attempts to sneak up on the cud chewing beasts we took a break to smoke a cigarette. The trip was wearing off and we were trying to evaluate how heavily we were still tripping by looking at our hands. (If you have fried you should understand).
My friend says to me....." If anyone could see us right now I wonder what they would say. I mean look at us, it is four in the morning and we are standing in a cow pasture comparing hands."
What a reality check. lol
A caveat to this anecdote: My own experiences with drugs were in my youth and if I had the chance to do it over again I would most certainly not waste my time or my brain cells on such activities. That said, I still can look back and see the humor in some of the drug fueled experiences that came my way. Without drugs my own life took on a beautiful new direction. My own success despite having partaken in such nasty things is not typical. I am one of the lucky ones. I knew people who did not live through their drug phase/addiction. I almost did not on a few occasions myself.

Never touched the stuff, but a friend of mine had an army with tanks and full military equipment following him around 'Woolworths'. He ran for all he was worth to get the bus home. As he looked out of the window they were on his tail, shooting and shouting abuse telling him 'exactly' what his come-uppance' was going to be.
When he got off the bus he ran to his bedroom, looked out of the window and the army, tanks etc were all there waiting for him.
He screamed and screamed at the top of his voice at them to leave him alone and just go away.
His parents called the emergency services who escorted him to the local 'mental hospital'. He spent three weeks there recovering.
Didn't stop him though from carrying on with the stuff. Though he is, shall we say; 'Mentally Slow' these days from the abuse, and has been on lifesaving medication to try to save his liver for the past five years.
Maybe a moral to the story there for someone reading this post.
Check out the link below for more clarity.
Good luck, Pete.

Eldridge Cleaver had to put Timothy Leary under house-arrest in Libya, while both were in exile, because Omar Kadafy discovered he was handing out LSD to his troops and was going to have him executed.
I guess he thought he could be a smart-*** all his life.
