sen b, here is the problem that muslims cannot do due to Islam, Muslims have beliefs in Islam that needs to change in order for them to integrate. and my question how to change that to integrate them.

Some of the beliefs, and I m talking about observant or practicing muslims, like this " God regulated everything that govern muslim life from washing in toilet to marriage and sx...etc" and punishment and threats of any kind whether physically or mentally promised for anyone break these. this is extreme problem. not found in christianity nor judiasm. now there are some rules in both these religions and hindu. but much less than Islam. cuz the rules in Islam more strict and alot, put by sunnah and quran.

While Christians succeeded in the west to be patriots of their country more than religion, Muslims are still cannot.

also the idea of that Islam can be spread by violence. muslims believe that Islam has to prevail by sword someday. this is very dangerous one

Just change the law of the land to Sharia law. Otherwise you cannot do what you are setting out to do.

I am British born and breed and I am part of British society Muslim or not. I know hundreds of Muslims and they are all part of the society in which they live. They go to school, are part of there local community, they are good neighbors and law abiding citizens. What more do they have to do to be integrated as part of that country? True religion for Muslims is a large part of there life but the same can be said for Christians, catholics, Hindus, Sikhs and Jews. What is it do you think that Muslims are not doing that other faiths do? I did not grow up Muslim but i grew up in a multicultural society and everyone where neighbors, work colleges and friends there was no separation even though the faiths where different. So you tell me what exactly is it you think Muslims are not doing that they should?

Sorry but everything you just added has no validity to Islam at all. I am a Muslim i am integrated into British society. Therefor what is it that i am not doing in your opinion. Be specific! There is nothing i do in this society that any Muslim would consider that i need punished for, like what? How does washing or marriage in the Islamic way stop me from being integrated?
Who exactly is going to punish or condemn me? Only Allah can do that. Well I am a Scot and there is nothing that stops me being a patriotic Scottish person in Islam again you are just showing your lack of knowledge.
And lastley reverting to Islam has to be a submission of the heart and only Allah knows what is in people hearts. No one can be MADE to be a muslim. I reverted 2 years ago and it certainly was not by the sword. Its laughable if you where not so stupid. Where in the west do you see people being threatened to convert to Isalm where? No where thats where cause it simply has nothing to do with the Islamic faith and if you ever where a muslim you would know its a submission not forcable in any way.

That is a good question, and a serious one as well. If a culture becomes isolated and to a certain degree does not mainstream it can be very bad. Who knows what kind of violations to human rights and to the values of the constitution go on. I am not just talking about Muslims here, but any cultural or ethnic groups. Is it right that just because they feel that the society has shut them out that some one in a ghetto or barrio can go around banging while (frequently by the way) killing children in their attempt at macho bravado? People in China towns and Korea towns have been silenced for their beliefs but don't make the threshold of the nightly news. How many slaves are now in this country? No one knows for sure. We have slaves because people are in this country to exploit freedom, not to foster it. A very bad use for very good laws.

Only the individual can do this. I grew up with many Muslim families here in California they lived as we and practiced their religion as they saw fit. The difference is this: One cannot expect a country to BE your religion the individual MUST seperate the concepts. Only time makes this happen and the children of immigrants from many Muslim countries will be the first to reject the ideas that have kept their ancestors in poverty and subjegation. Only time. If we have enough. God Willing.

Can't be done...they will never really integrate into a non-Muslim country cause their religion says for them not to. Ergo, their country will never really be able to 'trust' them.

Edit: Ruby below proves my case...she said, "however, religion will always come first and there is nothing u can do abt it to change it. " In essence, her loyalty is to Islam. Were her country fighting a war with a Muslim country, could her country count on her not to aid the enemy? I doubt it, cause her own country would become the enemy due to the fact that it was fighting a Muslim country (and therefore, Islam).

I do not know which country you are reffering to but here in the USA muslims see to be adapting to western life just fine. Muslims obey the laws and their practices are kept to themselves they are bothering nobody so in the USA they are successful.

By the way its never decreed that Islam should be spread by the sword. It decrees that if someone dares to exterminate Islam...Islam will win

If you were really a former Muslim, you should know that only the fanatics think they have a mission to use the sword. They are a minority compared to the 1 billion plus. Your idiocy has taken the best of you to make you post such a question.

You cannot if your policy is hostile towards them. That's like saying, for example, how are Turks going to incorporate Armenian immigrants when they are destroying Armenia. What a silly question.
