What's the difference, if any?

I have this wonderful Christian friend. She has very bad eyesight, so she wears glasses. Recently, she's been starting to wear her contact lenses that she never really wore before. Her contacts are daily disposables, so she can only wear it for about a day then throw it away. The reason for this is because her father is very strict about contacts, she right before he comes back from work, she has to take them off before he sees her in her contacts. I honestly don't know why he doesn't allow her to wear them, but she's been really struggling about this. She really wants weekly contact lenses and just be a a normal girl who wears contacts. She's been praying a lot lately, and she tells me that she thinks God isn't going to grant her the weekly contacts unless she does something first, like ask her parents about it which she hasn't done.

So what do you think God is telling her to do?

Christians enjoy washing in the blood of a human sacrifice. anyone else find that concept repugnant?

Here's the situation...a bunch of friends went out bar hopping. I went home with one of the guys we were out with. Well, we were both intoxicated, both into it..but even though I tried all my best tricks he still didn't climax. I wound up leaving, I have seen him once since and it was kind of ackward. We didn't talk about it, I'm not sure how fuzzy the night was for him, etc. I just can't stop thinking about it. I want to try it again, without so much to drink...but don't know exactly how to approach it. I will see him in a couple of weeks as classes start up again. Please give me some suggestions...or thoughts from a mans approach.

besides all that was said by nostradamus and many other ancient people and cultures. what i dont get what they try to argue. (remember y2k)
THE WRATH OF GOD....... (they often say it after a natural disaster like the tsunami in indonesia, after a big earthquake, the war in israel)

wtf is that?? tsunamis and earthquake have been going on ever since the earth was formed a few billion years ago. difference is, back then idiots, the human race didnt exist. 1000 years ago the earths population was not even close to half of its population today.
so if there was a natural disaster the deaths would be much less.

israel/palestine conflict - war in iraq - civil wars in africa: wars have been going on ever since the dawn of civilization, just look at a history book and youll see that each period of history of a certain civilization is marked by a war or a military conflict. i mean if you look at an american history book you will see.
revolution - civil war - world war 1 and 2. and so on.

someone asked what did you learn at church to make you more Christ like or conform more to Christ.

I think as Christians, we should ask ourselves that at every sermon/service we attend.

Well, I'm not at all upset. I work at a nursing home and I enjoy helping people make it through their day. Also, my kids get up early and I get off at 2:30. Anyone else aboard on Christmas??
