No. Sometimes people just use terms of endearment when addressing others. If he refers to other people as "honey" then he doesn't mean anything by it.
If he wants to be more than friends, he'll most likely say so.

i'd say not. i call my guy friends hun all the timeand i don't whant to be more than just great buds with them.... body lanuage also matters at this point in time. i don't think there is a right or wong answer to this... depends on the gender, age and maturity of the answerer and the asker....

Nope, not neccessarily. I call lots of my female friends 'hon' or 'honey' or even 'sweetie' and all it means is that they're my friends.
