Well killing animals is all about what you plan on doing with it. It's wrong to kill a puppy just for fun, just like any other animal. Although if someone has an animal as a pet, than it should never be killed, cause someone else cares for it.

you can kill what you want, humans are omnivores, it is natural to need meat. but i reccomend eating what you kill it. would keep that meat from going to waste, if you have any leftovers that you dont want to eat, bury it or feed it to another animal (either way, you give back to the planet, and your fellow organisims).

there is no difference, a puppy is just as important as a chicken or a fish. the only reason we find eating a puppy disgusting is because humans have utilized dogs for a different service than food, we use them as companions. people also dont want to kill certain animals because they are cuter or have more appeal than the animals that we do kill. take the panda, it is important to conserve the giant panda population, buyt while many people have a lot of sympathy towards pandas, much ferwer people show concern towards the celocanth (sorry if i misspelled) or the decreasing population of sharks. just because they dont have as much appeal. society also finds killing some animals fine but eating them disgusting, because the animal itself is consdered "gross". for example, a person would rather eat beef than an earthworm.

It's entirely cultural. We don't eat puppies and kittens here in the West, but in other places they're a food source. It's no different than going to France and simply ordering steak, rather than beef steak. Steak over in France is horse meat.

Personally, I'd be violently ill if I found out I ate puppy meat. But if it's accepted in other cultures, I'm not going to stop them.

Chow anyone? Look, I've told my friends, once it's cooked, I don't ask what I'm eating. Believe me, I don't want to know. It all tasts like chicken anyway.
