I just looked up paganism on Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paganism. Now I'm more bewildered than ever. As far as I can tell Paganism seems to be a family of freeform "religions?" that pretty much practice and believe a great variety of things -- whatever they feel like. I get the impression that it's just a buzz-word that means nothing. Am I wrong? You folks who call yourself pagans, would you care to clue us in on what paganism means to you?

Do you think He is concerned about our highs and lows? About our favorite colors or talents? Do you think He is concerned about your whereabouts and friends? About your 'more than friends' and lovers? Does He care beyond the Law of the Bible? I would like to know what you think.

But if this charge is true (that she wasn't a virgin on her wedding night), and evidence of the girls virginity is not found, they shall bring the girl to the entrance of her fathers house and there her townsman shall stone her to death, because she committed a crime against Israel by her unchasteness in her father's house. Thus shall you purge the evil from your midst. (Deuteronomy 22:20-21

Should I stick to any guidelines (besides than 8 candle holders with a 9th slightly higher than the others). I want to show my apprieciation for her sharing the concepts of her faith with me - obviously the last thing I would want to do is commit some grave mistake!

For example - can I sculpt a tree and make it into a menorah? Are there "subjects" or 'things' that the menorah should never look like?

Do the 8 candles need to be exactly even in height?

If it matters, they do not keep Kosher, but are Israeli.

Thanks for helping me!!

Me: "Hey Buddy!" (slaps on back)
King: "Hello Sir"
Me: "What's ploppin up the poop chute today?"
King: "Excuse me, sir?
Me: "So, when are we chowin'?"
King: "Well, we have a fine dinner in the dining quarters."
Me: "Oh, that's rubbish! Let's pick up a bite at McDonalds!"
King: "Alright, sounds good."

Later we are eating at McDonalds:

Me: "Say, King, you've put on a few pounds, ay?"
King: "Why, I certainly find that offending."
Me: "Hey, we're all packin' on the pounds."
King: "Yes, I suppose so."

Then we left and say goodbye.
