yes. the body is simply a shell, it is the soul that is important. it will continue to travel on until the soul has reached salvation (nirvana) by following the eight-fold path (among other things).

Bhuddists do believe in reincarnation, however what we believe or what religion we are has little to do with whether we will be reincarnated. Regardless of what religion you belong to or what culture, etc.. in my experience we all get the same three options when we die, these options are:
Resurrection in the life we just died in or any other of our other incarnations. Our resurrection picks up a short time before we died in that life and carries forward from there but skips the upcoming event in which we died, so that we get to carry on in that life once more as if we had not died.
Reincarnation in any form or world we choose in any cricumstances we choose. We may have a life as a stone, a tree, a bird, a building, a beast, etc... including creatures, artifacts, etc... from alien worlds and different dimensions.
A spiritual sojourn where we commune with our soul mates for a while before retruning to an incarnate form by ressurecting or reincarnating.
In my experience everyone has the same options and no other options. It is possible to dream up heaven, hell, purgatory or some other alternative afterlife expereince and exist in that for a while, but eventually you come out of that dream and take one of the three options described above.

I think the real answer to this is that it depends on who you are. Buddha himself wasn't really concerned about death or God. He was more interested in how to live life while you're still alive. But there are many sects of Buddhism, just as there are Christianity. Some probably do believe in reincarnation, especially because of the influence of Hinduism...but it's not in the core Buddhist teachings, to my knowledge.
Edit:
Hm, I guess they do believe in reincarnation. Learn something new everyday, huh? See the cited source for core Buddhist beliefs.

If a soul passes from one body to another, is it really the person? Is not a lot of what makes us ourselves the physical aspects of hair, eye color, etc as well as our experiences that are not brought forward in reincarnation?

Buddhism inherited the idea of karmic rebirth from Hinduism. To that it adds the concept of being able to escape this cycle through the attainment of enlightenment, the letting go of attachment to all things.
So yes, but only until one reaches enlightenment.

Buddhists believe you remain in the karmic cycle of birth, death, and rebirth until you expend all you karma, and reach nirvana, at which point you can escape the karmic cycle and rejoin the universe.
