The Bible, being a book written mostly around 2000 years ago, would not have alot to say about the topic of "abortion/birth control" as this was completely unknown in those days before any medical treatment was available. Also, since it would make no sense as the population of villages / cities / states etc depended to a much greater extent on babies being born and raised. Today things are much different as the rapid increase in the population of the world is actually more of a theat to our well being than a necessity.

The "real question" is a no brainer. But I'm sure lots of bigot Fundies will say no. And there's lots of Fundies out tonight.
As for the question about abortion, the bible doesn't advocate or condemn it. If anyone is interested there's an article about it on Edward Babinski's site that cites bible references.

God loves all people, although some prefer to be sexually involved with their own gender. And the rest of us cannot understand why? And No, the Bible doesn't advocate abortion!

Abortion is necessary, it helps keep the world from being populated with moronic imbeciles like those who beleive in the bible.
Gays are not better or as 'good', whatever that means, than me. They are mentaly sick and/or perverted. That's all homosexuality is. A perversion or mental instability.

Even though I dont think what gay people do is okay or good, I dont think I or they are any better than anyone else. Everyone has sin in there lives and no one can elevate themselves above each other.

Yes they are. But as Christians we are supposed to show them that what they are doing is a sin, just like if I as a Christian were commiting a certain sin that other Christians knew about, they are to let me know that I am doing wrong and help me to turn away from sin because they love me but hate my sin. We are to help each other live a GODLy life so we can go to heaven.

Yes, gay people are no better than Christians. Us Christians have done nothing to deserve heaven. The only difference is that we are forgiven and thats the only reason why we're going to heaven.

Exodus 21:22 says if you harm a woman and cause her to lose her fetus, you should pay a fine to a judge.

How should devoted Christians view abortion? Does the Bible have anything to say about it?
God's 6th commandment forbids the taking of life. It's in the Bible, Exodus 20:13, NKJV. "You shall not kill."
When the sperm has fertilized the egg a new life has begun. The mother's body is host to this totally dependent and separate human being. God has placed upon her the awesome task of doing everything possible to insure healthy development while in her body. God gave no woman the right to terminate the life of this dependent little being.
What does God say about the life and personhood of a fetus? People have worth and identity before they are born. It's in the Bible, Jeremiah 1:5, NIV. "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations."
God is at work in a person's life while he is in the womb. It's in the Bible, Psalm 139:13-14, NIV. "For you created my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Your works are wonderful, I know that full well."
How in the world did Satan ever get this God fearing nation to get to the point where such monstrous legislation could ever be voted into law? One only needs to understand how Satan works.
He attacks common sense with logic. For over 6,000 years he has been in an all out war against God and His ten commandment law. For over 16 centuries he has successfully gotten the majority of Christendom to throw out God's 4th commandment and replace it with the man made commandment giving homage to the Pagan day of sun worship. Now he wants all of Christianity to abandon the 6th commandment.
