Well they will just say that Jesus changed the law when in reality Jesus said:
"It is easier for Heaven and Earth to pass away than for the smallest part of the letter of the law to become invalid." (Luke 16:17)
The law is still binding Christians. Maybe its best if all of you just pick and choose what you want to believe.
Then of course the NT says “Did not Moses give you the law, and yet none of you keepeth the law" (John7:19) and “For the law was given by Moses,..." (John 1:17).
But I guess they feel like Deuteronomy doesn't count....even though Moses wrote it. They probably think this only applies to the 10 commandments.

Those were rules given to a specific people at a specific time for a specific reason. We don't stone people today in part because the price for sin has been paid, by the very God that laid out the punishment outlined in Deuteronomy. Before you try and use these lame excuses not to bend the knee to God you should work on understanding the Bible in context.

Are Christians bound by Biblical law? After all, the Bible says explicitly that it was given to the Jews. Christians are not Jews so why should such a law apply to them?
I could explain these passages according to the Jewish interpretation but somehow I figure it'll be a waste of my time.

All sin is worthy of death before the Lord. However, there is anotehr option. Who can offer up a sin offering that will take the punishment on her behalf. Since Jesus is the final sin offering, there is no longer any need to make such sacrifices, thus the need for us to punish sin is no longer there (Leviticus).
