If it's because men are into it, what I'm referring to is womens' magazines, where models/celebrities are frequently featured barefoot. Foot care products sometimes even want to give you a bug's eye view of a girl's foot so you'll know they work. Then again I am a guy and know this by having browsed through a couple of these very magazines here and there. Is that it, they know guys are gonna end up doing that?

They're not into other people's feet. They're into their own feet and different ways to display them. That what the magazines show them.

If you're 'into feet' it usually has a sexual connotation; however women don't read these magazines for a sexual turnon, instead just to look for beauty tips etc. So seeing a well-cared foot with an advertisement for foot products just makes sense. It's men's magazines where the sex sells, women's magazines where we just like goodlooking pictures without going as far as being 'into' anything.
