Decide what you haven't got no problem you can manage without, finish of last minute preparations, then go for a nice walk or drive somewhere with friends or family, and take a light meal out, en-route back home enjoy the lights and decorations as it gets dusk. Have a nice relaxing bath to take away the stress of all your hard-work and then curl up play carols, ring those close to you whom you can't be with over the christmas period, watch TV or a good Christmas DVD and then call it a day but don't forget to put out the drink and mince pies for Father Christmas and of course the carrots for Rudolph.

It depends on how old you are and what you like doing! I'm going to be at home with my husband and kids trying to get my kids to go to sleep!
However you could invite a couple of friends over and watch some good old fashioned Christmas films, eat mince pies and get in the Christmas spirit.

A lot depends on your age group and marrital/children status
For me I like to go out during the day and do those last minute shopping things. Sometimes with either my daughter or my grandson but definately not my wife (I love her to bits but not for this day out) when the evening comes I like nothing better than being at home with my wife, my children to come over with my Grandson and a few drinks and laughs in front of the tv. Then at the end of the evening when they have all gone home to go to bed and watch a bit of tv and nod of in anticipation of the day ahead. Then to see all the family and get together and feed our faces open our prezzies and watch the kids have fun.
Spend it with your family, it don't get much better

My family always watches Christmas movies and has a fun snack-like dinner. It's a great way to spend the time with your family and enjoy a good movie, all while waiting to fall asleep. And when your mom insists you put White Christmas in, you'll have no trouble falling asleep!!

Buy a little bell and sneak around the estate ringing it so that all the little kids think you're Santa. Probably should get drunk first. You could dress up too. Or do it in the nuddy.
