Im 20 years old and Im 100% latino..but I look 100% arabian or indian..people always call me terrorist and I cant stand it anymore..How can i stop that??

You can try really hard to stop it but find that someone else still calls you names. You can beat someone up, tattle on people, try wearing a big cross, be extreme and join one of the military forces...all are "solutions" that do not really work. Even if they do, they are ends that do not justify the means. Violence is never appropriate.
What I reccomend doing is finding the answer in yourself--you KNOW you are not a terrorist. Just laugh lightly inside that they got their facts wrong and try to let that frustration go. If you can really do this, you'll have bested them right there. Furthermore, take it as a nickname but do not respond to it. "I know you are but what am I" is a first grader line that can still be used on high end problems like this one if someone confronts you to your face and you can't just ignore it. It's a classic. If they are like "no, you're stupid" just keep repeating it and it'll have 'em.

There's nothing you can do. People stereo type people and it's really a matter of manners and discipline. If these are people from work, them you can sue them for discrimination. That will teach them a lesson. If these are neighbors then you may want to pay extra attention to make sure they do not vandalize your property. Be careful when walking around as you could be a victim of hate-crimes. You can also file a report at the police station just so you have a record in case something bad happens. Just keep your cool and keep in mind they are the loosers! It takes a lot of bravery to keep mum!

Well Im sorry that this is happening to u and there is no way to stop racism. As long as there are human beings on this planet there WILL be racsm. Its sad but its true. Dont let that bring u down though!

Go to a university website and print out a few million lines of genetic code. Stick the sheets in the racist person's face and point to a random location while saying: "lookey here, this proves that you are this percent of me". Or something like that. That'll drive em gooseggs!

It is not you my friend and I don't think you can change it either.Just think though,they must be extremely dumb or ignorant for calling you this, so let them no with a bit of sarcasm what you are maybe they will shut up in the future.cultural and race issues have been going on since the beginning of time , and western or eastern cultures are known to be so judgmental you can see it on TV every day.there are always more dumb then smart.good luck

We can't change any one persons opinions. People judge and we can't do anything about that. That's ignorance. But you know what....if it doesn't kill you it only makes you stronger. It's really something you need to be able to know as a person that you are strong and just build from being yourself not another persons judgment. Be proud of where you did come from and where you are.

If you figure out a way to stop it please let every other race, culture, sex, and other groups that are decriminated against, know how you stopped it. Racism is un-stoppable because of small mind people. People will always try judging others and speaking against things they do not understand.
