Every year political correctness puts a damper on religious holiday celebrations. Since we should all be allowed to celebrate our own holidays: Christians, Jews, Muslims, etc… is there a holiday that you celebrate in December or Winter that we could start promoting in the interest of equality?

With this global village we live in now, and people of all differing cultures inter-marrying/mixing, do you think eventually we will all become one single race of people. Although I enjoy having friends of all races and creeds, I wonder what it would be like if everyone in the world were the same race. Would there be as much conflict in the world? Or would yet another form of bigotry arise to take the place of racism (or any other discrimination)? What do you think is the last 'acceptable' group of people to discriminate against? (I am not endorsing discrimination, just curious on your thoughts. And trying to ask a question that has not yet been asked on Yahoo! Answers.)

I will be turning 22 in exactly 10 days. I have never done anything very special for the occasion and it most of the time get overshadowed by the holidays. This year has been challenging yet successful and i would like to treat myself to a special birthday. I hate racism of any kind, no matter what race it is directed towards. The word n.i.g.g.e.r is a horrible, disgusting word used by stupid racists as a derogatory term directed towards african americans. The word n.igga, on the other hand, is roughly equivelent to the word "dude." Example: "what up *****, wheres chris?" "i dunno, i havnt seen that ***** all week."This word is perfectly socially acceptable for the most part, from what I have observed, for black people to say to other black people. I am white, while a lot of my friends are black. These friends use the word ***** frequently, and some of them dont mind if i say it Others, however, do. If they are not offended by one group of people saying it, i do not think that they should be offended by another group saying the same word. Why can 50 cent and other black rappers say 'cracker,' a word with negative racial connotation, but Eminem cant say the word '*****,' which does not mean anything bad anymore? This is discrimination.

I am asian and my animal is a butt of a dog, a head of a pig. I was born in January 83 but Chinese New Year started in February. anyways. My husband is a pig.
