With this global village we live in now, and people of all differing cultures inter-marrying/mixing, do you think eventually we will all become one single race of people. Although I enjoy having friends of all races and creeds, I wonder what it would be like if everyone in the world were the same race. Would there be as much conflict in the world? Or would yet another form of bigotry arise to take the place of racism (or any other discrimination)? What do you think is the last 'acceptable' group of people to discriminate against? (I am not endorsing discrimination, just curious on your thoughts. And trying to ask a question that has not yet been asked on Yahoo! Answers.)

In 1 or 2 thousand years, we may well be all the same race.

But until we resolve class issues, some form of discrimination will remain. Hopefully we will evolve into a truly civilized global society, while maintaining and sharing cultural heritages, regardless of how ethnicities combine or not.

One race, sure, super... I don't think so.
Conflict in the world? bigotry? Sure... the world is evolving in a capitalist attitude. There will always be weaker people/countries/cultures.

The last 'acceptable' group of people to discriminate against will probably be people who believe in living without performance enhancing drugs, cybernetic parts or plastic surgery. I'm sure there will be some physical differences.
