Personally, I do question God when things don't look the way I would want. I have been taught that God knows best and He only does what is best for me and I should trust him.
I do not doubt any of that. There is, however, a part of me - that humanness - which steps out every once in a while and asks, "God, why?"
If He is true to His word, he already has forgiven me for my human failing. He understand our weaknesses. He knows we will do this or that, yet He loves us!
Is it wrong to question Him? Maybe, maybe not! I know when I am overwhelmed and want an answer, I will cry out to Him again, "God, why?"
I have to be honest with you.

Well sometimes people's curiosity gets so high, they get to the point where they ask if God is real or not. What would happen if He wasn't real? Would we live in darkness when we die, or would we be sent back to earth as another human over and over again? Its ok to question God at times, but if you question too much, there might be problems like thinkin life doesn't matter anymore.

God knows much more than we do, so clearly we won't always understand His message, or why some things happen the way they do.
In the Quran, God told the angels that He was going to make humans, and give them free will. The angels asked him, are you going to give them free will and won't they become violent? God told them "I know what you know not." Even the angels, who are God's most obedient servants (because they have no free will to disobey), asked God why. They didn't doubt Him, but they questioned what He was doing because they didn't understand the motives or purpose.
God wants you to use your mind. "You shall not accept any information, unless you verify it for yourself. I have given you the hearing, the eyesight, and the brain, and you are responsible for using them." (Quran 17:36)
Let's be clear about this, you can question God, as long as you do it respectfully. What isn't really allowed is to doubt God, because He is real and knows better than you.

Depends on what you are questioning God about. Its wrong to question His sovereignty and authority in my opinion. However, I see nothing wrong with asking God questions about issues of the heart.

my religion is agnosticism which makes me an agnostic and that's all i do is question everything in terms of religion no it's not wrong although to religious people in particular muslims and christians seem to have a problem with that but don't let people tell you it's wrong to question the concepts of god and whatever else you have questions with as you wouldn't be real to yourself if you just followed the crowd by doing as they do hell if god really is real then he or she must be annoyed with me lmmfao

~~~X ,,, It depends on only if YOU believe your accuser. Ponder this,,, why would god give you the power of your own Intellect to deduce for yourself? Just so that some clergy of authority can tell you that you are a heretic to even question,,, or the standard pap of "To test your faith." ,,, then of course there is the bogey man devil creeping into your thoughts and tempting you with evil? You see that the more one extrapolates, the less powerful 'god' becomes.
I don't think so... I think it's what you do after questioning God that counts. If you question God and then truly seek an answer, you can't help but grow as a person. God gave us brains - he wants us to use them!
God knows our hearts and where our questions come from. He knows we have questions and can read our minds, so asking Him is no different than just thinking about it. Asking and searching helps us know Him more.
Philosophically? Of course not. However, if youre seriously asking God questions and expecting a response....its not wrong, just retarded.
No. In fact it is a sign of spiritual maturity. He does not want us to follow him blindly. In fact,our questions directs us to seek God more, to understand him more, to discern his spirit more. But there is a thin line between questioning and ultimately denying him.
