The Bible says that God will have a descendent of David as the leader of Israel forever - I know Jesus is coming back and will be the leader then, but I'm wonderding about the guy in charge of Israel now.

I have answered a few of his questions, and wanted to show a friend my (what I think are funny!) answers. None of them are there! Why? I had noticed that he always changes his date of joining to that very week, why would that be?

Hey. It is an annoying characteristic, and it makes me wonder how many others are driven away from a message that could change their lives because of something like that.

Have you ever had a day where you just followed your instincts, and listened to your gut feeling instead of rationalizing everything?

Our family is trying something different this year for Christmas. We're only getting presents for the kids and each getting 1 funny/gag gift to trade with eachother, but I have NO ideas? Anything creative and practical?

Who the heck are these people?

I'm black as you can see. It seems that on myspace, in particular, a large number of the pages by black women under 30 have a tagline that is beyond arrogance. Stuff like, "Stop Hatin!", "If I wanted your man, U'd be single." "Don't hate me because i'm beautiful, hate me because your man thinks I am." Etc.

Am I the only one that finds this worthy of vomit? I mean, seriously, when have we been given the green light to be presumptuous biatches? When has arrogance become cute?

And what's funny is that these are the same females that complain about not being able to keep friends.

is it just me or do local stores and malls not disgust the heck out of you? I am a firm believer that Christmas doesnt't have to be so commericalized if you choose for it not to be. Not everyone has to participate in all the crazy amount of shopping taking place, but i find it sad that people like me and others out there that feel the same way get stuck working rediculous store holiday hours just so owners can make an extra couple bucks. my husband for example works in the local mall which changes its hours to be open later all of december. I work at a grocery store part-time while going to school and we are open till 6pm on Christmas eve. We dont get to go home until 6:30. even the mall is closed at 5pm along with many other shops in the area. its sad that with 364 days to prepare some rude person will be in at the last minute puicking up groceries for Christmas dinner while people working have family they would like to go home to. it just really gets to me
