It is repulsive, to say the least. I hate those t-shirts that say stuff like that too. Honestly, it isn't just a black thing. Snotty little white girls do it too. I find it immature and totally unclassy. It is just an indication fo the type of people they are, and the type of people they hang out with. Real friends are positive people. These chicks think they deserve the world, and that their crap don't stink. Sorry, but it does. I totally agree.

I can't say if its a black "thing" or not, but I do agree with you. It is worthy of vomit. Arrogance seems to be the wall that many young women are putting up these days and I don't agree with it. Call me old fashioned, but I prefer to sit down and speak with a lady; a woman who isn't all into herself and able to carry on a conversation. I believe they are saturated with false ideals of what a woman looks and acts like based upon the "popular" trends set forth by MTV, BET, and other programs. Anyway, that's my two cents.
Merry Christmas!

I find that most people who complain about "haters" are the problem themselves. Also, people (read: women) who complain constantly about two-faced friends are just as two-faced as the girls they complain about.
Anyway, anyone who lives their lives flaunting this kind of ignorant arrogance will live a resentful and unhappy life. I doubt they realize how foolish they look to the rest of us.
And it's not universally a black thing, my Cuban roommate is the same way.

I couldn't tell you why some chicks have tags like that, and I'm not sure if it's just a black thing. I can't say that I go on MySpace and look at chicks profile, no matter their heritage, so I really can't say whether it's just black chicks doing it, but i do know that there are plenty of chicks of all backgrounds and ages with that type of attitude.

I don't think it's just black young women, it's a young girl, not woman, thing. I'm not sure why it is, but it is. I work with young people and it's all young girls, not just black. They really do think they're princessess or something. I do find it very worthy of vomit! lol I think young people in general are arrogant, not all, there are very nice, well mannered young people, they just seem to be very few & far between.

I think obnoxious behavior is universal. Perhaps blacks women feel a little more free to be obnoxious with this kind of distance that they feel the Internet allows.
Look at the young white celebs. How much more obnoxious can one be??

Quite frankly, I see the same level of downright rudeness and lack of civility amongst today's adolescents regardless of particular ethnicity. I loathe political correctness for the sake of mere PC, but common decency, respect and civility are always in order. BTW, I'm as white as milk.

Well put. It does get annoying, in any race, but I do see what you mean about the black women. They have the "I'm better than you" attitude a lot of times.

I will agree that they have a strong personality and want to make a statement. I think that a lot of it is trying to be better than one another and when it comes to confiedence they surely have wether they need to or not.
I agree with you a 100%
