I will be turning 22 in exactly 10 days. I have never done anything very special for the occasion and it most of the time get overshadowed by the holidays. This year has been challenging yet successful and i would like to treat myself to a special birthday. I dont live in a very big city being that its in the central valley of california and i love being around people and family. Best answer will be given

I say you and your family go to a fancy restaurant, and have an awesome meal together. If not with them, then you by yourself, or with a friend. You don't have to go to a bar, or whatever to have a good time. Try & get your family & friends together, but if you can't, then schedule something for after the holidays. I don't think the fact that you don't get together on your exact birthday will make it any less special. All that matters is that you're with your friends & family to celebrate you. My boyfriend's birthday is right after the holidays & he has the same problem.

well maybe a nice get-together would be cool. you know like a dinner party (nothing extravagant) with your favorite people, some nice music and some food.
i dont know if they have lounges (restaurant/bar) where you live since you say its small, but look for a lounge where you can reserve seats for a certain number of people and have dinner there. lounges are cool because they are mellow, you can be at ease, and you can talk and enjoy yourself around your favorite people.
do something fun and memorable. take pictures too.
enjoy your day. and make sure the attention is always you!

I lnow the feeling. My birthday is on the 28th and every year i have no clue what to do. Last year i went bowling and the year before for my 22nd i went to the movies with a huge group of my friends and their friends. Thank god this year i dont really have to think about what to do cause i'm going on a family vacation so i dont think i'll have to stress about it. I hope you have a great birthday.

Since you live in Ca. you can go to the beach with your friends and have a beach party.This sounds like fun to me but I m an old lady in IL. who has a birthday in Jan. So I never get to get out on my birthday.Build a fire,if permitted,cook smores, eat cake.and if you want hot dogs or something easy to clean up.

organize a group outing...maybe go rollerskating? or bowling? How about a group movie night...plan to meet a bunch of people to go see a flick or have pizza after wards...or camping...but I'm in MA...way to cold for camping around here...is it warm enough in CA to go camping now? Yes i been wondering the same exact question..I will be turning 21 on Dec.28th..and i am wondering what should i do on my birthday..maybe you can go bowling,go to a club,or etc..whatever you can come up with..anyways,Happy Birthday!
